Pros: Strong velcro attachment, decent enough material. Lightweight/flexible.
Cons: They are just too small to fit without forcing them. I had to stretch it as hard as I could, almost ripping them to get them to go around the fork, which are a standard size. They did fit after that but aren't designed real well to fit around these new forks and the bar that goes above the tire. The stitching isn't the greatest and looks like it could come apart easily.
Other: They are ok, but not really needed.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Protect the forks well and keeps the grit out from trying to get past the seals. Its not required to fit them to most forks but its an added piece of mind if you have expensive kit! Wash clean easily (just hose them down) Fit fine on my bomber MZ comps and i imagine would fit most standard size forks. They are quite small and stretchy so have to be pulled tight.. that helps to crate a tight seal rather than having them flapping around and being of no use at all.
Cons: Why giant brand? Would prefer something that wasnt a brand that had nothing to do with my bike. Lizardskins would be better since they actually make stuff like this.. or some sort of smilar type company. Im not really fussed for fake stuff would rather it just be good at the job. Also one of mine was made up of 2 offcuts rather than one piece of material. Bit annoying really but not exactly crucial
Other: Its a good item, i wish DX would stock more stuff like this, chain stay protectors in various sizes would be nice in a few colors. With bike stuff it tends to be you get what you pay for so stuff like the pedals etc I wouldn't go near for putting on my mountain bike but stuff like this is cheap and cheerful yet does the job just fine.

Pros: look really original (giant).
came in black, and the caption in blue. the caption look like it wont peel, and will hold for a long time.
great price, fourth of what you will pay at regular store.
can be easely removed for cleaning
Cons: when i got it it had a horrible small!
Other: if you ride you bike at dusty area, and you got front suspension fork.
hope deal extreme will have more useful bike accessories, and replaceable parts .
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Easy to use if you have disc brakes. Simple enough but strong enough to protect your shocks. velcro seems strong and sticks together well. Haven't been out in the rain yet but looks like it would do the job.
Cons: Would be a little more involved if your forks have V- brakes installed as they would have to be removed for proper fitment. otherwise you could just cut a slit across the hole and fit them that way.Tha would make it easier but may comprimise the intergrity of the seal.
Other: cheap and easy to use
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Lightweight and easy to install. Velcro fasterner runs the entire length of the protector pad. It helps avoid dirt, mud and grime from getting into your front suspension components. Just make sure you remove and clean them up after your bike run
Cons: The neoprene material is thinner than most and cheap-grade velcro is used. I am not sure how durable the fastener is going to last after repeated removal. But for the low price, it's cheap insurance
Other: Get these as added protection. But take them off and wash them (as well as clean your suspension components after a dirt or mud run). Failure to do so may actually do more harm than good since the pads traps a substantial amount of dirt that may eventually get into your front seals.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Fits perfect around the forks Fits very tight to try and keep out dust The material is quite tough and very flexible Lightweight, Compatible for disks of V brakes
Cons: The stitching is rough and the Velcro is cheap, it has to be forced on but stays on then. It should be another brand or just plain black
Other: Get it if you ride in muddy or dusty conditions for extra safety. I might just rescue your fork of seal problems
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: very useful if you bike anywhere other then on paved roads, Any trails, dirt, grass, mud, gravel, etc all produce quite a bit of dust when the weather is dry, and the dust gets into your shocks, this wraps around your front shocks to keep dust off them and that way you don't have to lubricant them as often
Cons: the Velcro part feels cheap, And it doesn't come with any instructions for at first i ended up putting them on wrong, then i look at the pic on deal extreme and figured out how to put them on.
Other: if you bike anywhere other then on paved roads, you should get this to protect your shocks, its decent priced
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Love it! The neoprene material is resistent enough to protect the fork during trails but smooth enough to allow for the suspension to work well.
It doesn't prevent any movement from the suspension, which is good.
The velcro isn't the best quality, but it holds very well.
I'm using it on 3 forks: Rock Shox Tora 302, SR Suntour (Specialized OEM), and Fox Terralogic FIT 32.
Installation takes no more than 1 minute on each side. Fairly straightforward.
They are also easy to remove for washing/cleaning.
Cons: It's branded as GIANT, in blue over black. I'm trying to figure out a way to remove the branding.
Other: Even a $1000 Fox Racing suspension fork is susceptible to damage. If the damage is in the area these pads protect, you've lost your fork. Therefore spending a couple bucks on this is more than reasonable, because they will effectively protect your investment on the front suspension.

Pros: Relatively affordable, anyone can install without any problem. Durability will have to be judge with time. I really like the Giant logo as that's the same brand of my bike
Cons: The pads are not wide enough to fit on some decent thickness size of shocks. I really had to stretch the protector pads by a lot to fit them on, dunno if the velcro can last for long
Other: I will still recommend these to my friends, it is a good way to avoid debris to scratch up the shock body and leads to leakage.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: More than 3x cheaper in compare with analogs. Easily washable. I user it on my RST Capa ML and next yesr I'll use it on RockShox Tora 302. Looks not so durable, but I used it from April to November and all still ok. Also this protection can be used for fixing some cables, e.g. cyclocomputer's sensor.
Cons: Sometimes I had to rearrange protection because it moved around my fork and velcro started to touch front wheel.
Other: Good for all bikers, who rides somewhere except clean town.
