  • Good bike light, but doesn't fit properly

    posted by Andrew4Life on 16:09:17 G6T 10/06/2007

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: It has 2 options for either solid light or blinking light. It also detacheable so you can easily leave the bracket on the bike and take the light with you to prevent theft. The light is fairly bright, but might not be bright enough in the city where there is lots of light.

Cons: The bracket doesn't fit on the bike properly. The loop for the bracket is too big and doesn't go on my bike securely. I had to put some tape to have a thicker area for the light to attatch to.

Other: Good light for the price if you are okay with modifying it a bit and taping and securing it to the bike.

Pros: great light.. has multiple settings, solid, fast and slow flash

Cons: the attachment clip to the handle bars broke after a month.

Other: for the price. get multiples ... the attachment part is the worst part of it. other wise its a nice light output

  • Cheap on all accounts

posted by Wendigo on 10:58:32 G9T 19/09/2007 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: For $4.62 it is really cheap. I bought two to use side by side on handlebar.

Cons: Both lamps broke after just a couple of hours use. With one, the plastic switch just fell off during cykling and the lamp shut off. Not that good. With the second one the holder just broke clean off, probably due to extremly cheap plastic.

Other: Buy another, this is not so good.

  • Great bicycle light

posted by nmezib on 19:46:51 G9T 30/09/2007 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Great light, is bright enough to see where you're going. Don't expect to see daylight come out of this thing, though, the LEDs only give off a fair amount of light. 20 hours bright, 150 hours total life per battery, two modes: solid and blinking

Cons: Little unusual attaching it to a bike. Even with the rubber grips for attachment the ring is still a little large to go around handlebars, but this is hardly something to put you off because once attached, it doesn't come off accidentally.

Other: Bottomline: buy it and be safe

  • Bright & holds still

    posted by Matt2906 on 04:02:18 G11T 27/11/2007 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Easy to use and mount on bike, torch is bright enough to light up a fair bit of road. Doesn't move on handle bars over sharp bumps

Cons: Replacing the battery cover is a bit difficult.

Other: Good torch for bikeriding, won't be disappointed.

  • Great value light - recommneded

posted by jdaskew on 22:28:59 G12T 27/12/2007 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: The light is quite bright and you know you'll be seen. Battery life is good. It's inexpensive, so no worries if it gets damaged or ripped-off. Buy a couple - always handy to have a spare

Cons: The latch on the clip isn't perfect - the light can come loose if you hit it just right.

Other: Great value. Buy a couple and keep a spare around.

  • Bright but shabby

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Great bright light. Cheap price

Cons: The mount sucks. Can't really mount anywhere out of the way on my road bike. Kinda dissapointed because of that

Other: The lights great but you gotta find a good place to mount it or get a sturdier mounting bracket

  • Cheap but not too strong

posted by tripppp on 16:32:36 G1T 23/01/2008 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: - Cheap - Long battery life - Easy to mount holder on bike - Easy to mount flashlight in bike holder

Cons: -AAA batteries doesn't last half as long as AA ones, still costs as much.
    - The light isn't quite strong enough to light your way
    - I'm guessing the bike holder will eventually wear out, it's not made of very strong plastic.

Other: It's a cheap light for your bike.

  • Very Good Light For The Price

posted by Ziemas on 01:24:03 G3T 21/03/2008 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Bright with very good dusk and nighttime visibility. Longer battery life due to the use of four AAA batteries.

Cons: None really. Side visibility isn't very good, but I didn't expect it to be.

Other: This is very good for a 'be seen' light or a back up light but don't expect this (or any other small and inexpensive LED for that matter) to light up the road like daylight. This light does exactly what it was designed for, and that is notify others on the road of your presence.

  • Using everyday!!!

posted by danilomelo on 16:53:49 G3T 31/03/2008 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: It's a nice flashlight, just another imitation from a well know brand. As a safety light works really fine! I use it everyday and helps me to be seen on the heavy traffic. ============================================

Cons: If you are planning to use it as a lamp be careful, you can get dissapointed.
    ============================================

Other: Buy if you neeed a safety light.
