What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Inexpensive (about a quarter of the price of the Incredibell)
Cons: Although it looks like the Incredibell, it is about 50% larger in diameter and almost twice as tall with the compass. The plastic base and clamp feel very brittle and I was afraid that I would break it while attempting to install it on the bar.
The compass is pressed in and is not very secure. I put a drop of super glue in the socket and pressed it into place.
The bell is secured by a flared segment of plastic, and the compass is pressed into that flared section.
The bell does not make a crisp, clear DING sound like the Incredibell, but more like a clang. The thumb striker spring seems to sit a little too far from the bell, and the way it mates with the base seems to dampen the sound.
Other: The Incredibell feels much more ruggedly constructed and is much more compact. This item is really tall and stands out. It is just waiting to be broken off especially during rough, off-road use.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very inexpensive and professional-looking. Easy to mount on any bike.
Cons: Arrow points to south!(might confuse some people)
Not very durable...
Other: Bell still works great. Overall, i'm satisfied, and rarely used the compass so its loss wasn't that big of a deal. I recommend supergluing the compass down before mounting it, if you plan to mount it sideways or upside down.
