BMW Scanner 1.4 Car Vehicle Diagnostic Tool

Pros: Extremely helpful tool when diagnosing BMW vehicles. Can do most of the stuff that more expensive diagnostic tools do and is a lot cheaper. Easy to install and work with. Reads all systems on BMW cars without a hitch. Software is straightforward and simple to use. Reads and clears fault codes, resets service indicators, diagnoses all control units available in the vehicle and reads live data. All in all a great diagnostic tool.

Cons: Compared to other diagnostic tools like op-com, vag vcds, elm327, this tool is a bit more expensive then I expected.

Other: It is a few bucks more then other basic diagnostic tools but well worth the cost and if you work on BMW vehicles you will definitely need this tool. A definite BUY!!!!

Pros: Very good for BMW ussers: 1) reset for airbags 2) changing comfort setings 3) cheking errors for dme and ect..

Cons: Instaling little confusing need windows xp (only) or windows 7 + virtual machine (windows xp mode).. if geting message "Privileged Instruction" or ect then two options 1) first connect car the launch program 2) run regedit and delete all entres with "pasoft" If after that scanner say failed connet to ike and dme then need dismantle and short 7-8 pins(forever) then works good

Other: Very cheap good product

Pros: Easy installation, easy to use, can read/erase DTCs, live data, reading/writing memory, can program various functions and adapting modules. Coding is EXTREMELY usefull.

Cons: Misclick may be harmful, could support more models, on some modules there was no measuring blocks available. Print function could be minimalistic but its software side.

Other: If you need this BMW tool for more than read/erase DTCs, then BMW Scanner 1.4 is perfect choice.
