Pros: The price of course. This kind of wires is usefull when you are playing with a breadboard. So much comfortable than standard 0.5mm wire.

Cons: They're not from a high quality, but are cheaps enough to get another set if I broke someones.

Other: If you play with electronics, you must have this wires.

Pros: A good production quality Sufficient length to connect to other devices; A small price for such a number of wires; A large number of colors for easy identification when large amounts.

    Cons: Too thin ends; Poor quality of fixation using a breadboard; Bad contact because of this;

Other: More likely to buy them will not, but they are worth the money.

Pros: It's a "must have" item if you plan to mount some circuits with arduino or breadboards. Easy to plug or unplug. The various lengths helps in diferents situations =)

Cons: The diameter or the rubber protection is a litle bigger than the space between holes in arduino connectors. So put let,s say 5 in sequence will be a challenge. I'm using with arduino compatible MEGA 2560. Sometimes it is some loose in holes used before. In breadbord It don't get loose.

Other: It's a very good product for the price and I will buy more!

Pros: The price of course. This kind of wires is usefull when you are playing with a breadboard. So much comfortable than standard 0.5mm wire.

Cons: Are exactly the same wires coming with the Arduino kits, but in pack of 65. I was thinking there're not 65, cause it looks to small to be as many, so I've checked it and yes, 65. No one as a present. =(

Other: It's a very good product for the price and I will buy more!

  • Medium quality and very usefull wires for prototyping

posted by algspd on 06:45:42 G7T 24/07/2012 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Medium quality and very usefull wires for prototyping. It's very comfortable to prototype with this wires in combination with a good quality breadboard. They are very cheap (much more than in local stores).

Cons: Sometimes the rubber cover gets unglued from the tip. The wire is still usable. Bigger packs would be ok (if cheaper). Sometimes you need to leave a prototype wired for some time and you need more wires.

Other: Very usefull wires although quality is not the best.

Pros: All 65 came. It comes with many colors. Looks beautiful and has an acceptable made. Cheap, very very cheap.

Cons: The quantities of each length and the length were wrong. Some of the prickle were a little crooked. The black part plastic finish is a little bad, but you just pull it and it's okay.

Other: If you gonna use it in electronics, you definitely buy it. Otherwise, i don't think it has much other applications.

Pros: They're great replacement for stripping and cutting twisted-pair cable, because there's lot of them and they're really cheap for this amount of wires with this sufficient quality.

Cons: Ends are not best quality and there could be more longer wires. Tips are also a bit too thin but it's still usually connecting well (there are sometimes problems with contacting so it may sometimes make prototype debugging more difficult).

Other: They're good as a replacement for hand-made jumpers made of twisted-pair cable.
