Pros: Wow, what can I say, I just received the torch today in the post and have just given it a go with some new 18650 batteries (SKU 20932) in it. It's very very bright, impressive power in such a small package. Although I haven't owned any other CREE lights I am totally gobsmacked by this one. Build quality seems good to me.
Cons: The only thing that annoys me about this torch is the 5 mode clicky switch.
Other: For the price it's amazing, I've just ordered a second one for myself just a moment ago.

Pros: Wow !! Just received this light. What can I say, its pretty awsome !! Output is definitely brighter than my P7 mag moded diving light that I built a few years back. The lens seams very similar to the P7 OP lens but since the emiter is much smaller than the P7 it throws better. This flashlight seams solid, good construction. Has multiple O-rings and threads are nice. Has good hotspot with great spill. Spill is comparable to P7 maybe a little brighter. Hotspot is much brighter than P7.
Cons: Not a big fan of 5 Mode, but at least its got memory !
Other: Buy it !!

Pros: - It flashlight is bright as hell. I am comparing it to a Fenix LD20 and it is really good
- Very sturdy casing.
- seems to be water-resistant. I dropped it into a creek without problems
- Strobe is good for riding a push-bike! You'll be seen.
Cons: - It does overheat. After about 20 min in the brightest mode (Hi) it shuts down. After some time of cooling you can turn it on again. If you keep it to the 2nd brightest mode (Mid) it stays on (as far as I used it)
- No hole or anything to attach a lanyard
Other: A very good lamp for that price! The overheating isn't very nice but there is no use in keeping it on Hi all the time anyway. I use it for nightcaching and it seems to be perfect for that one

Pros: For just under $34 this is a bargain. This is a very, very solidly built Flashlight which produces an impressive amount of light. All threads are nicely cut, with (mostly double) lubricated O-rings in every joint. Good beamer with with moderate spill. I especially like the Titanium Grey finish.
Cons: Thermally this light is not very well laid out, causing a tendency to overheat. However, there is an easy way to alleviate this problem by filling the void between the emitter/reflector subassembly and the Flashlight body with Aluminium foil. Approximately 2 meters of standard kitchen foil can be squeezed in for improved heatsinking.
Other: At this price, this light is pretty amazing. If you want it to last for a long time, make sure to fix the heatsinking issue.

Pros: For just under $34 this is a real bargain. This is a very, very solidly built Flashlight which produces an impressive amount of very white light. All threads are nicely cut, with (mostly double) lubricated O-rings in every joint. Good beamer with with moderate spill. I especially like the Titanium Grey finish which makes it stand out from the (predominantly black) crowd.
Cons: Thermally this light is not very well laid out, which may cause it to overheat. However, you do not have to be a technical expert to alleviate this problem with a bit of kitchen foil (Aluminium). The forum provides information on how to do this.
Other: At this price, this light is pretty amazing. It looks and feels much more expensive than it is. If you want it to last for a long time, make sure to fix the heatsinking issue.

Pros: • The light does use little energy compared to its brightness. I did not do a runtime test, but as far as I can tell it lasts quite long. • I like the color-temperature of the light, albeit being a bit bluish. • The build quality is quite decent, treads are nice and smooth, and the light feels sturdy. • And yes it is bright, I could distinguish the beam on high on the ground outside in the sun! • The tail-cap switch is a backwards clicky(it goes on the moment you release it), that does match the interface.
Cons: • Although being very bright, I don't think it is exactly 900LM out the front. • Thermal management is poor, you would need to address this to be able to run it on high for any extended period of time. • You can see a strobe effect when the light is on low, and even a little on middle, likely due to the regulation. • The tail-cap switch is a backwards clicky (it goes on the moment you release it), but it does match the interface. • There is no rubber-sealing between the glass lens and the outer housing, at least not in the one I received, so it would not be watertight. • It has only three brightness levels, the rest is just flicker modes.
Other: It is a very nice flashlight, especially considering its price. and I am for the most part contend with it. I have put some thermal compound on the treads between the pill and the reflector. I have put toothpaste between the reflector and the outer housing. Take a look at the pictures for reference. It is certainly not a perfect solution, and I will see if I can find a better solution. But for the time being it does seem to work.

Pros: - Very bright, as I expected (further comments on lumens output on 'Other Thoughts')
- Build quality is OK, O-Ring seals throughout
- 2 batteries means longer life. This is useful for me. I originally intend to use this for cycling in dark winter mornings. This intention is still true IF I manage to upgrade the heatsink considerably ("IF" -> because proven to be elusive effort by me so far). More on this by lots of other people in forum below.
Cons: - 'High mode' only works for 5 minutes on room temperature, then the flashlight dims. My guess, the internal driver heat protection kicks in due to insufficient heatsink (lots of this under forum discussion). 10W is a lot of heat!
- Sharp edges and 'metal dust' here and there, but this is no prob for me
Other: - Good BRIGHT flashlight for it's price
- Poor heat management (only can use High mode for 5 minutes)

Pros: Very bright light, solid anodized aluminum body, powerful beam with a little yellow tint and a decent amount of spill in a cooler color. All joints have O-rings and mostly adequate greasing. There is a O-ring between the glass and the body, secured with the pressure of the reflector against the glass. Mine was a little loose, but is not very difficult to fix. My measurements show 1.7A consumption @ 7V, which is around the expected values.
Cons: - Thermal path from the led to the aluminum reflector is good, but maybe is not too great from the reflector to the exterior. I added 3 soft copper 22x28x1.5xmm washers and some thermal paste around the brass pill. These washers are easy to find in auto parts stores. This mod is easier to do right than the aluminum foil one and does not require to remove the spring. I only had to sand down a little the exterior of the first washer. - Does not work correctly with 3.2V LiFePo4 batteries and high mode. It switches to low mode after 1/2 s. and does not allow further mode changes.
Other: Good light, but needs some finishing by the user.

Pros: Well built case, with strong anodized finish and precise construction. The body is correctlyl sealed with O-rings in all external joints. Body threads are also anodized. Inside has a 5-mode drop-in module that outputs a impressive amount of light in the highest mode. Lower modes are obtained by switched regulation around 60Hz, so there is a little strobe effect, barely noticeable in real use. Switched regulation helps improving battery life, and this batteries last a lot of time with this flashlight in the lower and medium modes. Highest mode is too bright for direct use on the night against near clear objects and will ruin your night vision. Light color is very nice, a little bluish on the center of the beam and yellowish around the center.
Cons: The drop-in has poor termal transfer to the body and will overheat when the light is on max brightness for more than 5 minutes. I fixed this with a small quantity of thermal grease and 3 21x27x1mm copper washers, the kind used as seal in hydraulic circuits around the drop-in lower part. I had to sand down a little the first one, but now it works at full power without overheating. This needs to be made with care, because the washers are compressed between the module outer spring and the body, and may bend the reflector if pressed too much. A safer alternative can be some aluminium foil around the reflector, but I have not tested that method. Strobe and sos modes are more an annoyance than a useful feature for me, but disabling them requires taking apart the led pill.
Other: Good flashlight for the price.
