BT Interphone + Handsfree Bluetooth for Motorcycle and Skiing Helmet (2-Piece Set)

Pros: Pros? The price.. $102 for a set for you and you pillon. The battery life is better then that of the other (SKU 35614).

Cons: The speaker is a let down. (No bass, no what so ever other then vocal). Mic is okay with not much wind interference. The slide and locked in for the helmet seems ancient. Very easy to slide out when you push up your helmet to remove likely the headset may be pushed out too.

Other: If you can wait, see if DealExtreme will bring in more such headsets or get the (SKU 35614) if u can live with the shorter battery life.

Pros: the sound is good, even can say very good.
ride with girlfriend, talk during all the ride. talk with others while driving.
people told me that they do not here that i during the ride and very surprised. talk on 30km/h and 100km/h same sound on the other end. work well even on 130km/h.
the connection with the phone is immediate and with the other device.
I disassemble the helmet and putted the microphone tube behind the soft and just putted out the microphone itself, for not moving the microphone each time wear or remove the helmet.

Cons: the manual is too short.
its not say how to assemble it to the helmet, because probably on the past was different type of helmet amount that do not needed a screwdriver.
the helmet mount is not enough costomizable and therfor its not fitted well and a litle moving.
during the installation the microphone fell off!
I have dissembled it and soled it back.
the build quality of the unit is very good, but the build quality of the phone and microphone is not good.

Other: in my opinion, so far, it worth the money.

Pros: It works exactly as described. the range has been pretty phenomenal as I've tried it with my passenger walking off while having their helmet on. the sound is fairly clear considering i'm using the stock headset. since it uses an audio plug, you can always just substitute with your own instead if your prefer. This doesn't have to be for motorcycles, which is nice since i can use it for snowboarding. i use this regularly on my commute to hook up with my ipod touch AND cellphone at the same time! i listen to the music from the ipod and when a call comes in, the music stops and i pick up the call. after the call, it switches right back to music without touching a button! excellent battery life as well

Cons: i wish the charging was a little more indicative of how much was left. i've used this for long periods of time but i wish there was a way to know how much was left. i also noticed that i had to connect the ipod, play music THEN connect the cellphone. if i do it the other way aruond, it will play the music from my phone only. not a totally big deal if you have all your music on your phone. although i'm not sure how that would work with an iphone

Other: i would almost say just get this as an intercom system! it works well, you just need a place to put the little piece.

Pros: unit seems very well constructed, seems like it will handle the elements. clarity and sound very good at multiple speeds. linked right away to my phone and the other headset. Currently I dont have an mp3 or gps with blue tooth so could not try them.

Cons: uses velcro to hold speakers inside the helmet, might try something different with mine, sometimes it tends to catch on your ears as removing the helmet and needs to be repositioned. Will make more permanent after awhile. Also slight buzz in speaker sometimes, if you touch the antenna it goes away, so i figure it is interferance of some sort.

Other: If you are riding with a passenger or friends, you should have this in your collection.

Pros: Great gadget. It does ewerithing that is thold in specifications. Sound is wery good. I tested it with my friend on two bikes, operating distance is up to 400 meters beetween two devices, with great signal. After 400m conection is starting to loose signal. Batery charged just 1 time, using it for 5 hours, still working. Connection with my cell phone is great too, talking on the phone and with my frien via intercom on 120 km/h just fine. All the best!

Other: Every biker who like touring ride and travel, my recomendation, buy this product.

Pros: I loved this headset. When I got it I was so impressed by the sturdy feel of the build and the clarity of the communication.
I easily fit it into my helmet without much problems and have been using it since then for communication and music and calls via bluetooth to my iPhone 4.

Cons: There aren't many to speak of... One of the headsets was completely perfect and had no problems.
One of the other ones had no solder in one of the ear pieces and the wire just came straight out. My friend has been using it without it until he can solder it back together at work and he says even with one the sound is clear.
Music quality is not as good as it would be if you were using in ear earphones but you can expect that for the price. Music is a bit tinny but if you are not a stickler for sound quality it should be fine.

Other: For the price this is a great little gadget for any motorbike rider.
My friend and I had it up to 140 km/h with our visors down and were still able to here each other quite clearly.
The sound quality could be better, but when combinging all these awesome features into one easy to use headset for such a cheap price something had to be reduced.

Pros: the price is very good
and if it works for a long period of time then it is
the ultimate product for any biker

Cons: it stped recharging after a week of use and will not recharge to allow more then 10 min of use at best
i contact the DX for replacement but to no avail so far.
the sound has some hissing noise and tzik tzik tzik at all times apart from when listening to music or answearing a call

Other: it seem a very good product and a lot of potetial of use

Pros: The size and accessories. Intercom works perfectly

Cons: Poor sound quality, but it is possible to adapt another headphone. Not that easy to install inside the helmet. BT function sometimes it can be heard to many noises from the data transfer. Sometimes it gets really silent, working perfectly when connected to a cell phone. But it should work perfect all the time

Other: If you want a intercom, buy a talkabout with good headphones. If you want to communicate to your cellphone, may be useful, if you don't mind the system noises (sometimes umperceptibles). I like it, because a like to adapt and do some DIY.

Pros: Very cheap Really connects to 500 meters Comunication with partner better than expected on 120Km/h Long battery life (I've been using it for 6 hours and still power on)

Cons: Not easy to install inside the helmet Poor audio quality for music purposes

Other: I really recommend this product for every biker out there! Once you got it, you can't live without it.

Pros: Cheap, great working, easy to use. Drived with it on summerholliday, more than 2.500km in 7 days at any conditions.

Cons: Not really waterproof, but after drying its again working.

Other: What to say, just buy it. As I said, now Iam using it nearly a year and its still perfect, I ordered one for my friend too and shes happy with it, like me. The only problem was after 300kms in heavy rain, the sound quallity was down, a few minutes later no connection, but after a few hours in a dry place it worket again like before. Iam connecting it with my cellphone too, perfect.
