Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Low cost and high quality audio device.
Very low static noize.
It can output loud sound.
If you don't need 7.1ch, this is driverless.
Volume/mute keys control windows's mixer.
Internal audio chip has SPDIF output.
Cons: Left and Right sound is reversed.
Thare is little distortion caused by treble.
Other: I wanted to get SPDIF signal, so I mount LED and registor(see user photos).
It can be used mini-TOSLINK port.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -Nice Sound Quality
-Easy to Use and fast installed through "Plug&Play"
-Not only Sound Output but also Sound Input (MIC Port)
-7.1 Sound Emulation (sounds a bit better then the normal 2.0 configuration)
Cons: -Price could be a bit lower.
-If you add it on the back of your PC it can be a bit tight, if you have other USB devices added aswell.
Other: Nice second card for this Price, might not be necessary for everyone but if you wanted an low-price USB-Soundcard with a Overall good Quality here you got it ^^
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -Good sound quality with very little static.
-No software or extra fuss required. Just plug it in and start using it.
Cons: -Build quality isn't great. The casing was loose out of the box, the plastic is cheap and it's held together with crappy thin pegs. I feel like it would shatter into many pieces if it were to fall off my desk.
-Price could be a bit lower.
Other: I may have made it sound like junk but it's really not. Before I picked this up, I scanned every type of this item that DX has and this one easily had the best comments and reviews. I would agree with all of those people. It's a great product. Flimsy, but still provides quality sound at a decent price. Maybe just also pick up some glue to ensure it stays together.

Pros: Good small external usb sound card that dosent require drivers under windows xp sp3. Comes with a driver disk that adds some funcionnality.
Cons: When you use it without the included drivers, the mute and volume buttons controls the default sound card. So if this is not your default sound card the buttons are kind of useless.
Other: Its a good card to use with skype anyway because of the mute and volume buttons.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Cheap, easy to install, works decently
Cons: The worst con so far is the fact that Left and Right channels are reversed. Now I have to find a way to "unreverse" those channels, otherwise it is useless for me when playing Battlefield Bad Company 2. This game has a nasty crash which makes my computer freezes (sometimes) if I use the onboard sound card
Other: If you don't need this for playing games, go for it. Otherwise... you know you will have problems.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Sound quality was much better than I expected. Plug and play on Windows 7. Build quality is quite good too. Not made of soft/cheap plastic.
Cons: Like what someone has memtnioned. The Left and Right channels are reversed. Can solved by switching your speaker/earphones around. Buttons are alittle hard to press but they all work. Have to hold the bottom and press if not the usb port might not take the pressure.
Other: Good buy besides a small flaw.(Left and Right Channel)
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Some other products were cheaper but I liked the buttons on this one. They work without having to modify anything in Windows. The adapter was detected under Windows 7 32 bit with no problems, it works and provides great sound with no artifacts that I can hear.
Cons: None that I can see (or hear!)
Other: Great sound and no problems, just buy one.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Clear and good audio. Works on windows, mac and linux. Powerfull enough for Koss Porta Pro. No drivers needed.
Cons: Unable to use any adjacent usb ports if you're not using an extension cable. Mic input seems to be mono only. No additional value over SKU 45577, except black color instead of white.
Other: Buy this or SKU 45577 if you need extra audio output and input! :)
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: No noticeable sound degradation. Installs automatically under Windows 7 64-bit. Seems to have good build quality. Has buttons to control it's volume.
Cons: Not really very many cons. The green LED blinks like crazy when it's in use, and that's a bit distracting. Also, it's a bit large, so any adjacent USB ports are unusable.
Other: Definitely recommend if you want another sound card for a low price.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: No sound quality loss! its really light its nice and small, so doesnt take a lot of space like other ones do no drivers are needed, can just use straight away ( im on windows xp)
Cons: when i use my headphones with it, i hear this weird beeping noise, but when im listening to music its fine =)
Other: well worth the price, it is very cheap, small and driverless, so it can be used on virtually anything with a usb :D
