Pros: Good finish and all threads clean and smooth with almost no play. Smooth reflector with no flaws. O-rings throughout, nice beefy pill, reasonable mass for heat sinking.
Cons: Mine had uneven rim on the front bezel ring; leaves a slight gap between the bezel and reflector housing on one side but the o-ring will seal out moisture- more cosmetic in nature.
Other: Decent deal for a DIY light of your own design. Should either be listed as blems or offered as a DIY kit that is clean and free of defects for those making them as gifts or for sale.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Great fit and finish overall. Nothing damaged or missing. Very easy to work with as is, or mod. Mine had no dings or blemishes whatsoever. All threads are clean and smooth, parts all fit together well, nicely anodized.
Cons: None to speak of.
Other: This is a great and useful item for DIY and experimenters. I ordered 2 more ...
Can't lose with this, it includes everything you need for DIY.

Pros: Smallest host I know for a 18650 battery. It fits better in my hand than its' brother Aurora DIY host Sku#15687. It has nice knurling that will secure it firmly in your hand. Q5 emitter Sku#11023 and Driver Sku#7612 are perfect for this host. It was shipped to me without defects or blemish. I also replaced the rubber tail cap with a green GITD available here in DX. Semi-smooth reflector provides a balanced flood and throw. It is the perfect size for me.
Cons: None
Other: If DX sells an R2 emitter that will fit this host, it will give me a reason to assemble one torch using this host again. I really like it very much it has now become my favorite. It is the perfect size for me.

Pros: I thought I liked so much DIY Kit Aurora V6, Sku#156687 that I purchased a lot earlier than this kit but this C6 kit fits better and snugly in my hand and does not slip like V6 does. It has now become my favorite light. Installed with the great Q5 at 14mm, Sku%11023 and the 16-mode driver, Sku#07612, I got a light with balanced throw, spill, longevity, and portability.
Cons: None
Other: Great small host. I planned to carry it with me everywhere I go especially outdoors, my family loves camping a lot. Since becoming a flashaholic, I am now bringing lights even when checking in hotels. You will just never know when you will need a great light outside the comfort of your home. I just need to get more spare 18650 batteries. I love this light.

Pros: Very nice flashligt body, i really like the design, seems to be pretty sterdy, comes with pill, o-rings and wriststrap.
Cons: poorly manufactured pill gave me lots of headache, the brass ring that holds the driver pcb was to big, so i had to file it down quite a lot. when i pushed it in by force it bent and i had to file a lot more.
at the top side of the pill the wires get stuck between the pill and the star causing bad thermal conductivity.
Other: overall a fun diy project, but be prepared to modify it to get it to work properly
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: I realy like the size of this housing, also the shape is nice, fits great in to anyones hand. The threads are well tapped and the seals are ok. Clicky seems to work as it is suposed to and is sealled nicely. Reflector provides an excelent throw and a nice dot.
Cons: Installing the driver pill isn't great. It takes a small, fragile, ring that has to be pushed in to the fitting. If the size of the driver is a bit different as the design was made for you'll have a hard time to load it.
Other: if you need a smal host and have a lathe or just the right innerparts this one is awsome...
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Good casing for 2 cr123 / one 18650 projects. Compact, Stands on tail, optics can be totally removed. Good quality.
Cons: Very cree XRE orientated. One had a tail joint which got extended from factory screwing of the cap. Grease and careful remount while holding it in place made it shrink back to functional.
Other: To DIY or not to DIY ?
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -good build quality -feels solid, heavy and expensive in the hand -glass lens -not one cheap plastic part -metal reflector
Cons: -hard to solder a case connection to the pill with regular soldering iron, needs a few tricks to do that -cr123a batteries (DX) shake a bit, but contact / conductivity to spring I hotglued in place is good.
Other: for $10,90 , you get an expensive looking and feeling host for nice diy projects.

Pros: Awsome anodizing finish, inner construction easy to understand and (re)modify to suit your needs, usage of driver pill makes great new options for laser building, very solid contacts, tilcap clicky switch can take a lot of abuse, easily changeable caps.
Cons: None I can think of.
Other: I've installed P7 emitter into one, that draws 2.3 A, and clicky switch still hasn't melted. A lot of my laser builds also are in this host which is awsome for that kind of usage.
Great host, great price, awsome.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: good metal host for flashlights and DIY lasers :) i specifically bought it for my red laser diode I made my own custom heat sink that fits perfectly in this host easy to disassemble and assemble it takes 1*18650 or 2*CR123A or similiar batteries the tailcap is good and sturdy it can take much abuse
Cons: the included heatsink is pretty thin for a good heat dissipation so this one is a goner ... build your own and you won't miss ;) no other cons :)
Other: cheap and valuable item for all of us DIY guys and girls :):D
