What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - simple and effective design - can be used in landscape or portrait mode while attached to the flash hotshoe.
Cons: - it is not accurate - it is not well built
Other: In order to get the perfect level, I'm thinking of some hardware fixes...
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Ease-of-use (just pop it on the hot shoe) Somewhat asy to read upon glance from viewfinder
Cons: Can be hard to see in low light Cannot be mounted horizontally where you can see it all easily (about 0* pointed to the right) Cannot use my pop-up flash with it equipped on a d70 (which can kind of be expected)
Other: Does what it is supposed to do, but the price is somewhat hard to justify.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: great tool to level your camera. Fits on your hot shoe. Very well build and wouldn't break if dropped (cause I dropped it several time already)
Cons: Price is a little high.
Other: Even if price is a little high it's better than a homemade one. Also it's small and easy to carry around.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Easily indicates horizontal plane regardless of camera orientation
Cons: Build quality isn't that great: it shows signs of thermal contraction from molding and signs of machining.
Other: Good little gadge to keep around. You never know when you are going to need it.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -Hard to shoot panoramas without one. -Fits hotshoe
Cons: -Can`t use one with a flash. On the other hand you will never shoot panorama with a flash
Other: You need one if you are going to shoot panoramas!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Inexpensive and valuable in certain kinds of photography.
Cons: Not the greatest quality, but should last with some TLC.
Other: Not bad at all!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Solid build, does what its supposed to do, used it on a photo shoot on location as my tripod level is useless and my results were perfectly level due to this device.
Cons: none
Other: get it, its an essential for your kit!!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Cheap. Don't know how accurate it is yet but should get it close enough for my purposes
Cons: none
Other: If you need to level your camera on a tripod this should do the trick.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Excellent
Cons: None
Other: Get it if you need to ensure you camera is level on a tripod.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Built very solidly. It's a solid chunk of clear plastic. - Two different levels, to level the camera on both axes easily. Not a cheap "bull's eye level". - Supports two orientations in the hotshoe
Cons: - Blocks my camera's built-in flash from raising in the landscape orientation (as expected).
- In portrait orientation, the top level isn't useful at all unless you're trying to photograph straight down or straight up, but the portrait orientation is useful if you can't look at the top of the camera to make sure it's level.
- The bubble in the bottom/back level is bigger than the one in the front, making it harder to judge how centred it is.
Other: Get one if you like taking panoramas.
