What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Pros: When I got it I was VERY surprised at the build quality that is no less than perfect. It looks and feels just like the original Canon extension cord only is 6 times cheaper! The second thing that surprised me greatly is that camera-side hotshoe plug is made of metal rather than plastic. Everything works fine, the cord firmly plugs into camera's shoe and sits tight even without help of the fixation knob.
Cons: The cord is only 130cm long and considering the fact it is twisted it applies a reasonable spring force to the flash when being fully extended so watch your equipmet if you don't want it to fall with the tripod on the ground.
Other: A perfect tool for removing your flashgun off the body still retaining all E-TTL capabilities. Considering its build quality and its look and feel the price no longer seems cheap for me but rather just fantastic. I am extremely satisfied with it to say the least.

Pros: + very high build quality
+ looks and works like an original Canon off-camera cord
+ about five times cheaper than original (CANON Off-camera Shoe adapter OC-E3 is about $100, used Like-new is about $30-50)
+ works well even with EOS-system camera (tested on EOS 20D and EOS 5D) and Powershot-"system" (tested on SX20IS and G11).
+ full-time support of E-TTL
+ adds a possibility to make incredible flash-effects: bottom-to-up, left-to-right and many more!
Cons: - seems like it's not 180 cm long when extended, it's about 150
Other: highly recommended to buy if you need off-camera shoe cord!

Pros: Compared to others I have tried, this one appears to have no significant flaws. The camble fits quite firmly on the hot shoe even without tightening the lock ring.
A different brand I purchased elsewhere immediately snapped off the locking lever which locks it to the hot shoe on its first use.
Cons: The knurled ring that holds the connection to the camera hot shoe could have been a bit sturdier, but if you treat it gently there is no hassle.
Other: All in all, cant complain, the cable is substantially cheaper than the genuine and does the job just as well.
