What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Pros: This device is extremely easy to setup. Just plug it into your car cigarette plug and it works at the default frequency 87.5 MHz. Plug it in your IPhone and it will start playing your music.
Cons: This device is partly compatible with newer IPhone's like the 3GS. FM radio transmitter works but it is not charging the IPhone's battery. It even shows a 'nice' warning message that this device it not able to charge the IPhone ;-) This is the only disappointment, since I also planned to charge it... This is probably related to the fact that it still uses the firewire pin's on the Iphone connector. Maybe some older models will still work.
Other: Nice device which cannot charge the new IPhone's

Pros: Pretty good build quality for the $.
Signal strength is definitely up to par, IMHO.
Completely tunable through the whole FM band, unlike U.S. marketed (garbage) transmitters that bow to the FCC and don't work properly.
Cons: Seek noise while caching is very pronounced.
There's a more subtle pulsing noise to be heard too if you pause your iPod or turn the volume on your stereo up very high.
Volatile memory (I agree with the other reviewer: Set its default as one of your radio's presets - done).
Other: Good value for money when you compare it to the inferior products available (for WAY more cash) domestically in the United States.
