  • Charges my phone

    Pros: it charges like any other phone charger. it fits almost any nokia phone made in the last few years. buy it, you know you want to.
    The awesome cost makes it hard to fault. buy one of these in store and it would likely cost 10 times as much

    Cons: There are no laser blasters on this. If it did have them it would make for a very well rouned product

    Other: With phones using so much juice these days if you actually use half the features on them, and you spend much time in your car, a car charger is a necesity in this day and age. for this price, you can't complain. its all good

    Cons: Not much going in the way of cons, it is what it is. build quality is acceptable

    Other: Its cheap, it does the job. Why not have one in your car for that emergency were your phone goes flat

  • Excelent!

    Pros: Conveniently charging in the car. Safely rapid charge your handheld. Works with Brazilian voltage standards. Charges very well. Well Built. Has a red led on it. It fits perfectly on the charger, so it won't fall. Best thing to have on your car, so you'll never need to find some place to charge your cell phone in an emergency. You can use your cell phone without bothering about the batteries.

    Cons: It came with a big sticker with some chinese words... I removed it easily. If you like green leds, you'll be sad with its red led. If you don't have a car or a nokia cell phone, don't buy it. If your car doesn't has a battery, don't buy it. If you are afraid of driving while you charge your phone, don't buy it.

    Other: Just buy it.

  • Good working carloader

    posted by NLBarry on 23:18:02 G2T 23/02/2010 certificated customer

    Pros: Have bought this thing in combination with the windshield holder to use my telephone as a navigation device, I must say its better than I expected it to be because its very easy to install and it makes sure my battery aint going down due to use of my navigation. it even fills up 1 bar in 1 hour while using navigation

    Cons: its tall but only if you stretch it, it seems like it is pulling hard at your device so you have to stretch the cord at first use to make it longer

    Other: get it as a carloader, does the job right

  • Cheap and working

    Pros: Cheap, easy to use. No loss if someone breaks into the car and steals it.

    Cons: Can't be sold in stores here in sweden due to lack of CE marking. Won't charge if its turned some degrees wrong in the cigarette plug in my car. Has to be forced as long in as possible. The plastic in the housing are not of the best quality

    Other: As your only charger I would not reccomend it. However as a emergency charger in the car for unexpected lack of battery it does it job even if you have to jiggle it a bit to get it charging. I would be very careful when its cold in the car, feels like the plastic is going to split in pieces with very little force when below -5 degrees Celcius.

    Pros: + Does what it's supposed to do. + Fits well in to the cigarette lighter plug unlike some other gadgets I've used (but this might vary on different cars.)

    Cons: I can't really think of any cons for this. Maybe the build quality could be a little better but for the price I think it's pretty good.

    Other: Buy this if you need to charge your phone in the car.

    Pros: Well .. it is just as effective as you would want your car phone charger to be ! It fits flush with the car power 12 V adapter and shows no signs of excessive heating (as i had noticed with another locally purchased GPS charger, not from dealextreme ). I have had this for 6 months now and it continues to work beautifully.

    Cons: - The power output is approx 500mA which means that you might need about 2 hours for a full charge for a nokia phone with 1500 mAh battery... Just for comparison , a standard nokia wall outlet charger gives out 850 mA and does the job in under 60 minutes.
    - The 2mm Jack does look a bit cheap
    - The coiled cable could have been a bit longer

    Other: a very good buy at this price.. go for it.

  • Very good charger

    posted by asgneto on 18:39:17 G5T 28/05/2010 certificated customer

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: - Works perfectly with my N95;
    - Fits in car cigarette lighter firmly ;
    - Very cheap and it meets its purpose ;

    Cons: - The quality of material used in its fabrication is not very good:
    - The cable looks short and fragile;
    - The power plug offers some resistance to fit in the N95 conector.
    - Do not have packaging or manufacturer's identification ;

    Other: - The amount paid for the product is fair and worth every penny.

  • Works Great!

    Pros: Works Great and is much cheaper than buying one from the shops, Charges my phone and fits neatly in the glove box without all of the wires becoming tangled up thanks to the springy cord!

    Cons: The cable however is very short so it can get in the way of the shifter in your car, but it does stretch a fair bit, it can also bit a bit picky when it comes to being inserted (may just be my car though)

    Other: Great Price and always good to have one in an emergency and doesnt get all tangled in the mess of wire spaghetti in my glove box
