Car Charger Full Range FM Transmitter with 0.7" LCD Display for All iPod/iPhone 2G/3G

Pros: DOES work with iPhone 3GS - charges and transmits. Easy to use. Nice looking display.

Cons: Causes a small amount of interference on other channels. For example, when just charging the iPhone and listening to another FM radio station. Transmits at a lower volume than most commercial radio stations (radio signal is strong enough, FM deviation is low). So you have to turn up the car radio 30% higher than normal (and remember to turn it back down later).

Other: SKU 33801 is totally worth it. I also bought a SKU 28502, which does NOT charge the 3GS (message pops up on the phone screen, can not charge, airplane mode, etc).

Pros: I wanted something small - just like a car charger. My expectations were quite low: there are so many FM stations in the DC area that FM transmitters are hard to use.
What a surprise! This had a very strong signal after just a couple of tries. The sound quality was great.

Cons: I suppose the front face could be better quality, but it remained functional.
Similar to another users comment, you will have to turn up the volume on your radio.

Other: Get it. The price is right.

Pros: First of all, I want to confirm that this definitely works with the Nano 5G.
The signal strength is VERY good, and is much much better than my old *brand name* FM transmitter. As far as I can tell it seems to remember the last used frequency when powered down (not sure for how long though).
Sound quality is nearly as good as a direct audio line out, for both voice podcasts and for music.

Cons: 2 very minor cons:
ONE
The audio signal is taken from the dock connector on the iPod, which means you have crank up your car stereo pretty high.
TWO
The lead from the charger/transmitter to the iPod isn't very flexible, which can make it difficult to position your iPod if you have limited storage space in your car console.
Both are very minor issues.

Other: I'm buying another one to keep as a spare.

Pros: 1. Compact (not larger than my old car charging cable) and looks elegant.
2. Signal is strong (no interference from engine or radio stations, as I used to have with older product I purchased).
3. Build quality - didn't have problem with it either. Seems decent to me.
I was a little worried at first from the comment about the sound being too low... nothing to worry about, just increase the volume a little and you've got enough sound power!!!
I really think this is one of my best purchases in DX.

Cons: Couldn't find any so far...

Other: Great value for money... using it with my Iphone 3G.
Does what it should with excellence!

Pros: - plug & play
- minimal interference
- sound quality not too bad
- full range FM tuner
- bright display
- easy 2 buttons to on/off, up & down freq
- when answering phone from the handset the music is cutoff automatically, when the phone conversation is ended, the music is switched back automatically.
- overall build quality is not too bad for the price.

Cons: when there is no music feed from the iPhone, this unit went to sleep mode in a fairly short time. For example, if the phone conversation went for too long, the unit will turn off automatically and radio may start broadcasting music from the off-the-air radio station.

Other: this item does the job rather well so far.

Pros: It's very simple to operate , just connect to your 12v car socket and plug to your iphone.
set the frequency and that's it.
sound quality is good , it charges the iphone and plays music at the same time.

Cons: it does not transmit the phone calls , only music is transmitted to the car radio.
when a call arrives it stops the music and you have to use the iphone's speaker.. :-(
when the call ends the music is back on

Other: need to find something just like this one that can transmit music and the calls as well to get a perfect product.

Pros: Worked perfectly for my 800km drive, sometimes the iPhone 3gs produced some interference, but generally its fine. It also turns itself off if not plugged into the iPhone for a few minutes (and just press a button to turn it on again). Great build quality.

Cons: The frequency LCD can sometimes be hard to read, but then it is a nice blue backlight and how often do you really need to look at it.

Other: Love it, very happy with my choice.

Pros: Works awesome, very stong signal, it will drown out local signals easily. Audio is loud and clear, with no abnormalities like hissing and popping.
Very clear and easy to read display. nice blue color but not overly bright. its not distracting to use at night.
cable has to buttons to lock into phone, very secure with no play.
also it keeps the station in memory even unpluged

Cons: works great in all the vehicles i have used except the truck i drive at work.
Its an older diesel van, and the power isn't very clean and steady. this causes the charger to quit charging and if its not getting enough power the phone will say its not compatible. just have to unplug it and start over

Pros: 1. Excellent build quality, doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart any time soon. 2. Blue light makes reading the text really easy. 3. Charges my iPhone 3GS perfectly. 4. Transmits full FM range. 5. Transmits well, no problems. 6. Charger nice to use and looks good!

Cons: 1. Sound is not loud enough. 2. Changing transmitting range by large amounts takes a long time. 3. The plug is a bit too tight for the socket, and feels like it might break it, but works fine still.

Other: Excellent valu, no faults and works perfectly!

Pros: I was astounded by the quality of this FM transmitter! It transmits the songs with clarity to your speakers, and barely any interference if you find a good station. The blue LED panel is perfect for good vision of the screen, and overall it was just easy to use, and works perfectly.
Its price is also amazing! Definitely value for money.

Cons: The harsh plastic smell of the item, but it wears off after a while.
Also my LED screen was slightly scratched, but that's probably a one off for myself. Definitely shouldn't turn you off buying the product, as it doesn't affect its function in any way.

Other: If you want an FM transmitter, buy this! It does exactly what it says it will - charges your iPod/phone while playing your music through your car speakers. Brilliant.
