    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: good quality, good materials, price is great! perfect fit to my Dodge Stratus!

    Cons: Places, where wires connected with outlet could be protected, but for this price I don't think, that it is a real con.

  • Basic addon lighter socket.

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: This is a basic replacement or add on twelve volt lighter socket. It has a reasonably good build quality. I am using it to add a receptacle extension for my Global Positioning System (GPS) from my car's head liner. This does a good job of it.

    Cons: This socket comes with two different lead lengths so I have to shorten one which leaves me with less extension than I had hoped for but not too short.

    Other: Good for the purpose I wanted it to fulfill.
