Car Portable Device/Gadget Holder and Windshield Mount

Pros: Suction is strong and bears the weight of my PDA without any problem. With all the pieces that came with the unit it was easy to get a configuration that suits my car.

Cons: You need to be careful about the body of the unit separating from the suction arm when mounting or removing as they slide together. Once in place there was no problem however.

Other: I needed a holder for my IPAQ and this works well. I took the unit off road on 4WD tracks and it stayed in place the whole time.

Pros: - quite strong
- has suction cups with lever to secure it in place. i know some don't have this feature and easily fall off the glass. from experience this won't fall off. not a chance. suction is very strong.
- fits my palm tx perfectly
- does not scratch my palm as it has nice padding
- adjustable and many ways

Cons: - a little bulky, but i guess the thicker plastic makes it stronger

Other: - great product and great price, very happy customer

Pros: I used this to hold my t-mobile MDA with tomtom software installed on a road trip. It's probably not the best holder our there, but it gets the job done fairly well for the price.
The build quality is not that great.

Cons: -Sometimes it vibrates like crazy. Its construction is not that sturdy.
-During a 24 hour total drive, the suction cup came loose twice

Other: This is a cheap, quick way to mount your phone/gps on your window.

Pros: -I use it with my PSP and also with my PDA (HTC) and works well. You can change the size very easy to fit it to many devices.
-Also you can change between lot of positions to have a good view whatever you put it.
-The part where you put your device is soft, so your device will not be damaged.

Cons: Sometimes the vibrations can disturb you, but depends of where you place it.

Other: Good price and good item. Very very usefull

Pros: Can be tilted 90 degrees to accommodate just about anything that will fit. Sides are cushioned to prevent any scratches.
I bought this to hold my Archos 5 and it works very well. Since my Archos 5 is very heavy compared to most GPS I decided to just mount it the unconventional way and that was to actually screw it to my cup holder. It has worked out very well for me. Now that it's out of the way I don't have to worry about it blocking my view and also it's less likely to be stolen.

Cons: If you loosen up the bottom bold too much it will fall apart on you. It's not a huge deal because you can put it back together. It's basically a sprocket and the teeth fit together. Also the release button is very difficult to push in. However I believe it will loosen up after use and prove easier to use.

Other: If you need something like this then get it. Be careful however as with all holders too much weight can probably bring it down.

Pros: I'm getting good usage out of this... I wanted something that would attach somewhere on my desk/computer/flat surface and let me have my iphone face me while I work... easier to field calls and texts, etc.
You can rotate it into some useful positions...
Fits any iPhone with a case ....

Cons: I think I need one more axis of movement but that's okay... not really a fault of the device in my current configuration.
The foam pieces came off but I just glued them back on...no biggie...
I sort of have to stuff/slide the phone in and out to keep it at the right angle for me -- this probably put pressure on the foams... I'm sure there are better ways to use this.

Other: Good if you have an iphone in a case ...working well in a home office -- just need a flat-tish surface... it comes with an adhesive base that you can set up as a "dock" for the suction cup.

Pros: - It’s a great gadget mount for your car
- Stays on really well and the padding helped too
- Can be tilted in many different angles and configurations
- It fitted my devices perfectly

Cons: - It vibrates on occasions
- The mount seems to be a bit big

Other: - Great product for a great price. It’s a must have for those of you who need a windshield mount for your gadgets.

Pros: THis is a good mount to use in the car. I use it to hold my GPS unit on the A/C vents, because I don´t like to hang it on my windshield. It came with the vent clips and the windshield cup. It is adjustable to fit different size gadgets. It can rotate as well.

Cons: Build quality is quite poor, parts arent perfectly aligned, one of the rubbers that hold the gadget fell off, not a big deal, i glued it back. For its proce you cant really complain about build quality, and I couldnt find this mount anywhere else here, just on the DX website. The picture that came with the mount was of an asian chick in a sexy pose. Not that it really matters, i took it out, didn´t really like it.

Other: It is a helpful accessory for your car, to hold a GPS unit, cellphone and whatever. Won´t find a cheaper one that works. If you need the vent clips like i did, this one came with them.

Pros: The product is practises, served for my nokia that possesss GPS. The cost I benefit is excellent. It possesss adjustments to hold Cellular and the GPS and has some adjustments. the windy insurance very well.

Cons: It would be good if product had more resistance. Unhappyly it started to free rubbers in less than three months. The part of low could be bigger pra to help to hold the cellular one.

Other: They can buy. Cost x I benefit is excellent.

Pros: Sturdy construction, good range of adjustability including tilt and rotation, all adjustments can be made without tools since knobs allow tightening by hand, solid mounting with the suction cup, comes with adhesive mounting disk for dashboard mounting, and also an air condition vent clip attachment which allows mounting directly to the AC vent without using the suction cup & arm mount at all.

Cons: The adhesive on the disc is so weak that it is unusable. A look at the adhesive pad will show you that it is very thin. Even after cleaning off the mounting surface with alcohol, letting it dry completely, and firmly pressing the adhesive disc on, the adhesive disc fell off with just the weight of the suction cup & arm on it (not even holding a phone!).
The girly photo is pretty lame. You can't see it with a phone mounted anyway, but I ended up covering it up with duct tape because I got sick of seeing it after taking my phone out.

Other: Hard to beat for the price. I ordered another with a bending arm (SKU 01154) for comparison, but installed this one first and have been so satisfied with it I haven't bothered to try the bending-arm model.
If this one breaks I'll be ordering another one right away.
