    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Does not leave permanent marks to the car. Can be easily moved to another car. Will hold all kinds of devices. The silicone pads are really sticky and can be cleaned with water. No plastic parts to break.

    Cons: Dirt, dust, hair, birch seed etc. will stick on the silicone pads, too. You may have to clean the pads with water every now and then. Needs some flat surface under it, this might not be found in every car.

    Other: I bought the same stand from a local store last year, cost twice as much as in here. I have been using it with several phones and GPS units, switched it between different cars and have just loved it.
