Car Windshield Holder Swivel Mount for iPhone 3G/3GS

Pros: Fits the iPhone 3G perfectly.
Very strong suction grip on the windshield.
Flexible arm is very responsive and stays where you want it to.
Allows for iPhone to be charged while attached.
Looks nice (not shoddy).

Cons: iPhone 3G with silicone case won't fit.

Other: If you're not using any protection for your iPhone this windshield mount is perfect. If you're using a silicone or hardshell case you'll have to pull your iPhone out every time which is too tedious for daily use but still useful for long rides.

Pros: + Fits the iPhone 3G perfectly!
+ It is very study - I was afraid that every time that I'll touch my iPhone the whole thing will move to all the ways, but it is stuck to the windshield, and it's arm is very very strong.

Cons: - You need take your iPhone out of it's case (silicone or plastic case) every time before you put it in.
- The arm is a bit short.

Pros: Cheap

Arm stiffness is good, allows adjustment, but strong enough to not move during use.
All buttons and connectors are exposed, allow free access while in cradle.

Cons: Mute switch is slightly obscured.
Clip catches slightly on iPhone case between front metal bezel, and rear white cover, since the transition on the iPhone is not perfect.

Other: For this price I am going to buy one for each of my cars. Might even get an extra one to use the cradle for a mount on my bike.
Seriously you won't regret buying it. Get one.

- suction nap VERY strong, even difficult when you WANT to remove it (but that's a good thing)

Other: Great buy, cheap, good quality.

Pros: The device works very well. It has a nice large mount. The shaft is long enough for an average car like mine and not too long either (so it doens't block one's view).

Cons: Clips in a bit tight that might be a problem if you use a protective shield.

Other: Nice product for the price and makes it easier and safer to operate your iPhone while driving.

Other: very useful, basically if you have an iphone 3g and a car, you have to buy this. along with the charger because it comes in use so nicely and its just perfect!

Pros: This holder has a very good build quality. The suction cup is very strong. The head can swivel and tilt in every direction. You can also detach it for easily mounting your phone then put it back. The arm is very strong also, although a bit hard to move.

Cons: The head is a very tight fit to the phone. Mine has only a thin film protection, and still this holder is peeling the film off it when I put the phone in. I'm a bit afraid that it will leave marks on the phone in the long term.

Other: Good mount, but only good if you have no case or film protection on your phone at all.

Pros: The product is incredibly cheap and useful. You can find similar things in stores that are overly bulky and don't look right. Even though it's a subjective opinion, why spend $50 when you can get a better looking and equal in performing product for less than $5?!

Cons: The parts are a little stiff and the suction doesn't always stick. But I've owned this for months. Once you get it to fit properly, it will never come loose.

Other: There is no reason not to buy this if you have a car and iPhone. In my city it's just become outlawed to talk on the phone while driving, but I urge everyone who wants a product to not go to Best Buy and get tricked by the brand-name companies over-pricing their products.

Pros: It is cheap to buy, it is easy to use and the iPhone fits perfectly in the holder. It’s more then you would ever expect from anything with this low price tag, I would really recommend it, if you can live with the few cons of course.

Cons: It is not only cheap to buy but also has some points that make it cheap. The arm attached to the holder is very weak, after a few days my phone was looking down to the ground constantly. The idea of a movable ball so you can rotate and adjust the angle of the phone is nice, but needs to be more firm.
However, the holder also fits on other arms, so I used another arm for a long time which worked perfectly. However, after some months intense use the clip that secures the phone broke, so that quality is not the best either.

Other: Bottomline for me, very good to use, not to great quality, but it offers more then I would have expected for this price. A good choice if you don’t mind ordering a new one after half a year or so.
