    Pros: When I opened the box everything was nicely packed. Looks to be of a pretty good build quality. CD containted all the needed software to make this interface work. Had no problems connecting it for the first time, everything did what it's supposed to do.

    Cons: Nothing negative really...

    Other: Very solid and well made interface. Cheap and easy to use. Software is also great. The ideal toolkit for the home mechanic.

    Pros: Once you install the software, it is the perfect tool for BMW at a very low price.It is well buil,quality cables.Make sure you have a serial port on your PC or get a Serial Port Express Card also available on this site.

    Cons: None...but installation instructions...they suck big time.With help check this http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=952429 It saved me a lot of time with installation/activation.

    Other: Much better than other BMW code readers.A visit to the dealer for a simple check engine light or airbag reset can add up to hundreds of dollars.

    Pros: Happy to say it worked out of the box. Installation is straightforward. I followed the instructions on the CD. I had no need for information from other sources. I am fortunate to have an old-ish Laptop with an integral RS232 port which worked first time.

    Cons: The diagnostics are just loads on numbers and error codes. There's no description of what these codes are. Yo need to write the codes down, and them do some Internet searching to find what they mean. A full list of all codes and their meaning would be great.

    Other: Well worth it, provided you have a suitable laptop. It'll find lots of faults that will keep you busy fixing for a long time ;-)

    Pros: Easy, Cheap, and WORKS!

    Cons: The information on applying the crack were incorrect.

    Other: If you need to get the codes off your computer or reset lights---BUY THIS. If you own a BMW----BUY THIS ANYWAY! If you have a semi-technically inclined friend that owns a BMW---BUY THIS FOR THEM!!!
