What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: No-snags work but you can also remove the connector from the jack without pliers. Flat and very flexible. Easy to move. Cable is recognized as 1000Mbps!!!
Cons: No-snags are a bit higher than on many.
Other: I will be recycling the other stiff and hard to use cables.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It's definitely a great spare cable if you need one. It's also a good permanent cable if you need one.
Build quality is great, and the no-snag boots on the ends feel solid.
Solid connection to ethernet jacks.
Cons: The price is my only major complaint, but then again I don't know how much it costs to manufacture flat cables.
A similar-length Cat5e or even Cat6 cable costs less.
Other: If you want to run the cable through a door or window, I'd suggest getting this or a shorter one of these and putting ethernet couplers on each end, then completing the run with REAL ethernet cable. That, of course, depends on how long your run needs to be. This can stand on its own as an ethernet link but you definitely don't want to go flat for long distances.
