  • Good but not great

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: It actually do work at 1 gigabit, as some question how it would, since is a flat cable instead of a normal bulky twisted pair one. Once i plugged it it, it worked fine a 1 gbps, BUT, as soon as i twisted it to make it smaller, it went back to 100 mbps. But that is ok for me, since it is very easy to manipulate and hide.

Cons: Since it DOES NOT follow CAT 5e standards, it WON'T work in some systems and conditions.

Other: It's a good pice of wire. I do recommend if you'll plug your pc or mac on the wall. It is very flexible, so, It'll fit great for organized offices.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: flat cable, folds up really well, doesn't get tangled. the plastic of the connectors are well made and don't look like they will break or the tab will break.

Cons: the cable is very flat so the wires inside must be pretty slim. It doesn't give a feeling of strength, I'd be careful to not pull the ends of the cable as they don't look like they'll stay on too well.

Other: great for carrying around a 3m network cable with your laptop. Takes up almost no space at all, just be careful and don't pull it too hard... or buy a few so you have a backup.
