Charging Docking Station with 3.5MM Line Out for iPhone 4 - Black

Pros: It works as claimed. A dock for iPhone 4. Comes with a rubbery base to increase friction.

Cons: Its a very tight fit. Have to push my iphone down with a bit of force before it connects. Same goes for the port accepting the usb cable. And as with all docks, it will not fit an iPhone with a bumper/casing. So unless you're using invisible shield or dun mind taking off your casing everytime you sync, this dock is not for you.

Other: A simple dock for iPhone 4. Seeing that its $5, i can't really complain

Pros: Great price, looks good. Does charge phone.

Cons: Main issue, as mentioned in the discussion below, when your phone is plugged in, all audio is cut off from the phone. So unless you have external speakers hooked up, you will not get any notification sounds or ringers. This is a deal killer for me. Phone is useless, aside from charging, while in the dock. Unfortunately, the fit is just a tad too tight. You really have to push the phone in and I worry about damage to the port from doing this.

Other: Skip it. Kills iPhone functionality

Pros: Looks good, cheap

Cons: The fit is too tight. Not only is this annoying when seating and removing the device but it could be quite dangerous to your iPhone since an incorrectly sized plug can potentially damage its connector pins.
There are scratches all over this thing. Protective foil was applied over the scratches - why even bother?

Other: I don't trust my phone's dock connector to this thing.

Pros: Rubber base for good desk friction Snug fit when not using case Stylish and compact look Includes a line out to hook up desktop speakers. Nice.

Cons: Does not include iphone sync cable

Other: For a little over $5 you cant go wrong, in fact Im back here at DX today to buy more. I havent tried out other docks on the site, so I cant compare to other SKU's, but for me i wont bother Im quite happy with this model.

Pros: It fits the iPhone 4 PERFECTLY! I'm not sure why the other reviews says differently, but it is a very nice fit. Also, the dock stays firmly on the surface and looks pretty good. I was actually quite surprised when I compared it to my other 3GS docks and my other iPhone 4 dock.

Cons: A matte finish could avoid fingerprints and scratches. It will mute all incoming SMS sounds but not phone calls for some reason. If you don't want anything to be muted and don't need the audio output, just open it and crush the connection to the output. I did this on a dock for my 3GS and it worked nicely.

Other: I figured I had to review this since all the other reviews were negative and complained about a tight fit. I wonder if I got the dock from a second batch that were different to the others?

Other: I bought this not really considering the extra size needed for a case. End of the day a LOT of Apple docks have issues when you put cases on them - especially the bumper, which has a smaller, inflexible hole in the case than some other cases. Looking back now i made a mistake purchasing this because I think you need a case for the iPhone 4, to prevent scratches, and so you don't need to be sooo gentle with it when placing it on the table. If you're not a case person though, it's not a bad purchase.

Pros: Price is very nice and it fits perfectly. Sits at a nice angle without rocking back and forth. Gets rid of cable mess with this thing :

Cons: Music is led through the jack in the back with no option to just use the phone. Alarm still sounds from the phone though, so no biggie for me. Have to remember to buy seperate usb cabel.
Connecter in the rear is placed upside down.

in compare with original iPhone 2G dock this one is very low quality, the original one is much heaver and seems like made of some better material then plastic
