Chic Chefs Horizontal Ceramic Knife (12.3CM-Blade)

Pros: This is really a super knife! It is very sharp. I use it for cutting and slicing meat and fowl. Compared to my $120 Solingen knifes it performs great. The price is right! Here in Europe Japanise-made ceramic knives (same size) start at $60!

Cons: Don't drop it! Don't put it in the dishwasher. (Well this knife is easy to clean) And don't lose any of your fingers!

Other: By it! You won't regret.

Pros: I bought several ceramic knives at DealExtreme. This one seems to be the best and most beatiful one.
- Blade and handle have a nice finish
- Blade is really sharp
- Handle has better quality than the other ceramic knives sold here.

Cons: As the other knives i bought here, the box it came is below the limits of acceptance. I don´t know where they get those boxes they do not match the quality of the knives.
Besides that the tape used to wrap made the box all tacky.

Other: Very nice buy. I´m seriously thinking of buying another one. It´s a nice gift too.

Pros: Good look for this knife, very simple and accurate design. The price is right!

Other: it's not very good knife, but in the kitchen very good device. before you buy, evaluate everything.

Pros: - I've bought serveral models of ceramic knives at DealExtreme. This is the best one so far.
- The buid quality is very good. Remember that ceramic blades are not made to withstand impacts or bone cutting.
- Handle is very nice as well as the black blade.

Cons: - The only one I see is the box. It is cardboard and arrived as wreck to me.

Other: As I said before, this is the best knife I've got so far.

Pros: I'm very impressed with this knife. I bought this knife as a gift and to try out the ceramic knives. I wanted a good looking ceramic knife. This knife exceed my expectations. The wooden handle has a shiny finish with much rounded edges. The handle is made from one piece without any visible crack between parts. The knife is lightweight. The blade is less than 2mm thick. It is definitely better looking than a white blade.

Cons: - The box would be almost acceptable for a gift box, but it was designed for a much bigger knife. - The knife a slightly smaller than I expected.

Other: You want to own this knife. At least I want one for myself.

Pros: Loving this knife, from meats to fruits this thing cuts like a laser. Looks very nice with the carbon color finish- very expensive looking for a great price. I have gotten a lot of woos and wows about this knife.. everyone thought it would be a very expensive knife

Cons: One thing I dont understand is why ceramic knives have pointed tips as they are prone to breaking off. Ceramic knives should be made for slicing only therefore the sharp point is pointless.

Other: Worth the purchase and shouldnt hesitate on buying this one. This ceramic blade is a good heft and not as thin as the white ones

Pros: The blade is very sharp. The box is nice and therefore the product can be bought as gift. Cuts wonderfully through meat and can also be used to cut thin slices.

Cons: Unfortunately, the handle got separated from the blade after only two weeks of use, when nothing particularly tough was being cut. I'm disappointed with the product.

Other: At first, my view was that this was a good buy. But since the handle separated from the blade, I have no other choice but to review my comments. Overall, I'm very disappointed with the product's poor make and extreme fragility. Don't bother buying.

Pros: sharp, good-looking, nice box (but universal :( ). It's cutting fruit, meat, etc. very very (one very isn't enough) good. Better than other knives on DX and my own knives from Czech republic I ever had.

Cons: Should be little thinner.

Other: I use it for one month and still is sharp. I recommend it. If you never use ceramic knife, take more careful attention, cut very sharply. I bought it to my grandma and mother. :-) I like it.
