Pros: - Comfortable, grips nicely and has rubber buttons.
- Sets up relatively easy considering the one word LCD screen used to browse the menus.
- Picks up learning quite well, and offers several nice ways to get it programmed to your equipment.
- ENGLISH manual!
Cons: - Takes 3 batteries, where most batteries are packed per 2 or 4.
- Not ALL buttons are programmable.
Other: Its worth the money. If you have a buncha devices with a buncha remotes, this will clean up the clutter.

Pros: Has 10 (11 with AC , but it's limited) controllable device to choose from, that can learn codes. LCD is easy to read when backlight is on. The learning function is pretty decent. It successfully learned all the ir codes i've sent it so far. It can store 224 keys in memory.
The manual is pretty decent , which makes setting up the remote an easy task.
Fully auto code search, you can just leave the remote sitting while it goes through all 874 tv codes, and when your tv closes, you look at code used by the remote on the lcd.
Cons: Akward placement for play/pause stop rewind forward and record, it might be hard for some to confortably press these buttons.
The up/down/left/right arrows are small, and sometimes interfer with the select button.
Xbox support is dodgy, it will only power on the console, and will not power it off. I believe the original 360 remote, and most media center remote toggle 2 different codes on the same key to send power on / power off , same thing with open tray / close tray. I understand not being able to learn 2 codes on the same button, but the default mapping for the xbox remote should of handled the power button correctly. Right now only solution is to map power on to a key , and power off to another. It doesn't have any keys mapped to "X"m and the mapping for A, B , Y , GUIDE is cumbersome.
It lacks next track and previous track keys, so if you want that , you'll have to learn them from your remote (sucks if you use this as a replacement, and not an all in one remote).
You cannot use a default device code as a basis, and just change some keys. If you put your device in learn mode, then you must have the remote learn all keys.
Other: If you have your remotes, and you want them all in one, then the learning function will definitely suit your needs.

Pros: - Many many functions (TV, VCR, A/C, Cable, SAT, XBOX, ...) - FULLY Programmable, with non-volatile memory (does not lose programming when changing batteries) - Batteries last long - Decent range - Decent manual - Cost-benefit - Build quality - You can custom-program (by receiving the original remote signal) for those equipments not pre-programmed
Cons: - Its finishing is not as good as those similar "brand named" remote controllers, but hey: they cost 10 times more than this. So in cost-benefit this is unbeatable
Other: If you have lots of remote controls, and want to join all them on one, you have two options: you can spend hundreds of dollars on a brand-named universal remote, or you can spend only USD 18 on this. And trust me, unless you have very specific needs, this will be just enough. I have bought two. I may say this is the best purchase I made on DX so far.

Pros: This is a wonderful remote control! After introducing the relevant codes from the accompanying book, he easily made ??friends with my TV (LG) and DVD player (Samsung), did not even have to teach. Generally very useful when all the devices connected to a single console. Especially liked that the switching devices on the remote control by the relevant buttons.
Cons: Impossible to include both the backlight and the clock at this point. Clock mode on the screen remote start immediately after the backlight goes off. It is very inconvenient.
Other: Excellent buy for little money. Save you from pulling the flat masses of unnecessary remote controls.

Pros: This is an awesome remote control! I programmed it to all the devices in my livingroom: A/C, projector, VCR, JVC Audio, Satellite TV, Media Player, and even a remote-controlled color downlight. I had to use the learn feature for the projector, VCR, Media Player and downlight, and it works perfectly! Just a few times I had to reprogram one or two buttons, but it depended on for how long I pressed the buttons on the original remote when 'teaching'
Build quality is VERY GOOD, and it seems it will last for long if I don't drop it too much :)
I even have free space left to program more devices! :)
Cons: As another user stated, it is not possible to see the clock with the backlight on. If you see the clock, the backlight is off, when you press a button the backlight turns on and you can see the functions, you wait for the clock, and right when it shows, the backlight goes off.
Let me put it this way: THERE'S NO WAY TO SEE THE CLOCK IN TOTAL DARKNESS.
C'mon! what were they THINKING!!!
I hate when that happens, and it happens too much on chinese stuff :(
Other: Buy it, definitely buy it if you need to control various devices just with one remote. The 'learn' function is an awesome feature, not seen in most universal remote controllers. And it works!
Thank you for this nice product, DX!

Pros: Easy to setup. Quite clear manual. Made and packed rather well. Macro feature is definitely a big plus. When I am going to watch DVD movie I can switch on/off three diffrenet devices by pressing only one button (TV, DVD, amplifier). Isn't that great?
Cons: Not that many Cons indeed.
Clock is reset whenever you change bateries.
Clock is off when you light on the LCD display.
Some delay (approx. 1-2 seconds) between sending codes when Macro button is pressed.
Other: IMHO it's worth buying.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very good build quality
Easy of use
Nice design
Cons: Nothing special - clock/back-light issue mentioned below not really matter for me.
Other: The best remote for this price.

Pros: I have made the setup without the manual. It is very easy and intuitive. Learning function is very nice and userfull.
Cons: Clock is disapearing when you switch light on and when the lite switches off clock is restored. So you can not check what`s the time when is dark. Sometimes when you are using learning the device doesn`t saves all the buttones and there is a need to repeat the procedure.
Other: Quite nice for this money. If you boy it you will be happy because it can switch couple of remote controls at your home.

Pros: - Supports up to 11 devices.
- Supports A/C device.
- Excelent learning function, it learnt flawlessly my DVD remote control codes.
- Huge built in code sets, it found my TV and my A/C in the pre-built code sets.
- Good built quality.
- Very nice backlited LCD display.
- Excelent infra red range, you dont need to aim directly to the device.
- Not too difficult to program, and good manual.
Cons: - A/C control is no perfect for my A/C device. I couldnt get it to learn from the A/C remote, because I read that A/C codes are too complex, they carry the whole device status, not just a single button information. And closest match from pre-built codes has a little failure for my device: when I press temperature up, it turn off the A/C device. I use this closest code set with a workaround: I to press temperature up to 1 degree upper desired, not aiming to the A/C device, then aim to the device and press temperature down once. It works all right for me. Rest of the controls ok in this code set, like fan, power on/off, and others, everything ok.
- Process for searching for your device into the pre-built IR codes can be slow and boring. But it is an only once process, once you find the code set for your device, you dont have to do it again. Excelent learning funtion too.
- Not ergonomic design, little big in your hands.
- No connection to PC with software for programming, like Logitech.
- As a lot of users said, you cant see the time in the backlited display, because when you press a key and the light turn on, the clock goes away.
Other: It is an excelent purchase for the price, as good as Logitech Harmony remotes for 5 times less bucks.
I recommend it !
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - The built of the remote is of good quality - LCD display to take you the current selected device - Able to control my Korean media player by reading the IR signal and recorded into the remote itself - Button press with sound ==> Allowing users to know that the button is pressed but no response on devices and time to re-configure it
Cons: - Listed many devices on remote but showing mostly old devices - Should provide more details for advance users - Unable to control my cable box (provided by my service providers) *not sure of the IR format as well* - LCD similar to the LCD in basic calculator
Other: Overall Experience: A recommended remote worth the price as stated.
