Pros: Clicky switches for a great price. The switch is similar to a lot of other switches I've seen, to me they are backwards. It turns on after you click it and the plunger starts to back out.

Cons: Not as easy as other switches for momentarily on and off because of the backwards operation of the switch.

Other: If you need a switch and you aren't picky this is for you.

Pros: Firm action, reverse clickie switches.

Cons: Springs are a bit long, though you can always trim them... or replace them, since they're not soldered in place (which in and of itself, could be considered another con).

    Other: N/A.

  • Saved my flashlights

Pros: very, very nice action - not too soft, not to hard extra long spring length that can be trimmed to fit fit perfectly in my Ultrafire WF-502 flashlights (which had really crappy switches)

Cons: spring could have been soldered but is mechanichally fit instead (not a big deal in low amp applications like most flashlights)

Other: I'm very happy with this purchase, especially at this price.

  • Direct replacement for Ultrafire 502B

posted by gearhounds on 20:19:07 G4T 11/04/2008 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Positive, firm reverse clicky. Is an exact replacement for my UF 502b which went south. Lots of extra spring length allows you plenty of leeway to custom size replacement.

Cons: Not much bad to say about a $2 fix that leaves me with 4 spares! Spring is mechanically attached without solder but works fine.

Other: Cheap, well made clicky at bargain price that might fit other UF applications. For $2, throw some in your next order for that rainy day.

  • Great replacement switch

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Exact replacement for many tail clicky flashlights. Spring releases from switch body so you can use orginal spring when doing a replacement

Cons: Only rated at 1.5 amps so know the application.

Other: Good price and nice to have on hand for tail cliky flashlights. DX keeps me adding words to fullfill their requirement of a minimum of 500 characters.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: + Unbeatable price for five units
    + The works fine
+ Replacement for a lot of models
    + Spring can be released
+ Not too hard not too soft

Cons: - Reverse clicky (I like forward but this is an opinion)

Other: For the price this is a highly recommended purchase for everybody who own a clicky flashlight (sooner or later the clicky switch will die).

Pros: Great price, solid and practical if you need to build or repair a light.
You get 5 of them so you have extra to tweak and expieriment with.

Cons: Not really and cons, unless you only need one, you have 4 sitting around.
    .

Other: I needed just one switch, now I have 4 i am not using. This may lead me to trying to build a flashlight.
    Nothing wrong with that.

Pros: SEEMS TO FIT ALL 18650 16340 LIGHTS
I have used these on 4 or 7 different lights and they work pretty good for all.
I have been using with a little foil ring made to the ID of tailcap.
Slide the tailcap rubber in, foil ring, switch, and put the plate (threaded thingy) back in.
    Works for me.

    Cons: spring is long
    see other thoughts
    none other
WHEN WILL YOU SELL FORWARD CLICKIES !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Other: Beats the pants off 1 week downtime waiting for a switch.
    Just buy a pack.
    They work.

    Pros: LOOONG spring
    Ultra cheap
    They look solid and strong
    Great reponse
    look durable

Cons: Maybe the side contacts are too short to make good contact in some aplications. IF your device draws high curents consider using higer quality switches, because bad contacts create hot spots.
By the way this are suitable for normal flashlights without problem, but ensure that they make good contacs

Other: Yeah, buy them if you need.

posted by kyuzo on 14:47:28 G3T 06/03/2009 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: price
    you get 5 peaces
long spring - can be adjusted by cutting if needed

Cons: just got them today, 3 of 5 died right away, just after fiew clicks, the clicking mechanism of the switch is build really cheap, i got 2 flashlights and both their switches got broken really fast so i had to wait for new(faulty) ones to arrive

Other: buy if u must(maybe you'll be more lucky than i have been) but i would recommend a more quality switch (witch is not to be found here on DX....yet;)
