What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Nice solid feel. Solid clicks. Cheap. Great quality for the price.
Cons: No screws, can't open
Other: My first switch from DX. I wasn't sure about the build quality so I got the largest one. I figured it would be more robust. Very happy with the quality. I will be getting more of the different sizes now too.

Pros: received my 5 pack clicky switches for a pet project i have, first impressions:
- Solid constriction
- The click is strong & solid
- Two recessed contacts on either end meant for slot in fit into torches or sockets
- Higher current capacity compared to other switches on DX
- Cheap price
Cons: None that I can think of right now, I will know after a few months of using it
Other: Good buy, if you're a DIY chap, get a few of these!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Low resistance Fast working Solid construction Almost ideal amperage Good felling Good wound spring
Cons: Amperage could be higher Soldering pads could be longer and 90 degrees curved to the middle of switch. Soldering pads and inner metal elements could be 24k gold plated Easy to overheat during soldering i have destroy one of five You have to solder fast
Other: This kind of switches is almost imposible to get in my country (POLAND) or nearest countries or ewen in internet selers pages. I think I will buy mor of them in the future and another stuff from dx cause price is lower than in my country for similar stuff P.S. I get my first foreign package from dx.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: +Nice solid clicks +Connectors are conveniently on opposite sides +Size is good for many builds +Plastic feels solid, so no fear of it cracking very easily +Price is very cheap, since the pack includes 5 switces! +On/Off positions only, no unnecessary middle positions
Cons: -The connectors are meant for press-on connectors or something like that, so some say that these will break easily if soldered and heated up too much. I can't verify this, but I did solder one succesfully with my first try.
Other: Great little clicky switchec for a tiny amount of money.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: I use these in homemade bike lights. They work really well for the circuit boards DX carries, and they stand up well to high-use and harsh conditions. Easy to solder.
Cons: I use these with caps and hot-glue seals, but after about a year of daily use (outdoors, in -30C weather as well as rain), they eventually fail.
Other: I keep buying more for all sorts of projects.
