Compact 1.3MP PC USB 2.0 Webcam with Built-in Microphone (Black)

Pros: - Cheap - Built-in mic means only one cable connected to computer and digital audio (no audio interference like when using mic in cable). - Great image and sound quality / resolution (640x480) / frame rate (30fps with good light) FOR THE PRICE. - Great grip to put on top of 21" LCD monitors.

Cons: - Doesn't come with any driver's CD and OEM versions of Windows 7 (at least) can't install the usb mic drivers. Although, seems fixed in (for now) Win 7 SP1. (see comments) - The snap button is just a dummy button, doesn't work. - Kind of short cable, like all usb retractable cables.

Other: Oh, and it works with Playstation 3 too.

Pros: I bought two of these for my Mother and Father since their notebook computers did not come with webcams. Both notebooks are loaded with Windows 7 64-Bit Home Premium. All I had to do was plug them in and the drivers were automatically loaded. They have both video and sound. I'd give both the video and audio an 8 out of 10 points. That's darn good for a cheap camera like this. Build quality is excellent and the retractable USB cable that is attached works well with out any hang ups or broken springs. Low light video is surprisingly good. Audio is also very good.

Cons: As mentioned in other reviews, the camera button does not work. In addition, the clip for the camera could use a spring. As it is, the clip more or less hangs on to the top of the notebook LCD screen. It can be knocked off easily.

Other: Great camera for the price. If you have a notebook with no webcam, I recommend this unit.

Pros: The image from this little camera is very good. Unlike some other image sensors, the one in this camera doesn’t need a spot light to get a nice clear image. During the day just the sun light coming in through the blinds is enough. The built in microphone is USB also unlike some other cameras that require it plugs in to your sound card. The sound quality is good enough for making calls via google voice.

Cons: The USB cable is way way too short. It's only suitable for a laptop/netbook. For a desktop you will need an extension cable. The retractable cable only retracted once for me before it broke and became stuck unwound. This way fine by me as I hated it and was already looking for my small screwdriver to take it off

Other: It's a great camera for the price. It's good enough that I ordered another one.

Pros: - Very easy installation, drivers sets up automatically (windows 7 ultimate) - Not very bad built in microphone working through USB - Small - Universal mount - Medium quality picture

Cons: - 2-3 fps only!!! Like on my old Genius webcam made in 20 century - Short cable. Better for laptops - Low resolution. I'm not sure, but there are not 640x480 - No driver CD (actual problem for older OS)

Other: I am disappointed. Very low fps.

Pros: -Great Price -the video quality is not the best but what would you expect with a seven dollar camera -Perfect for Skype or other video chat platforms, the video quality is ideal for this application. -Driver automatically installed on windows seven -the stand is great because it can handle a large monitor, a previous camera i had had a tiny useless clip. -1 chord so you don't use excessive ports -The chord is retractable which makes it ideal for laptops and travel. -The camera swivels which is also a convenient feature

Cons: -The cord is very short for desktop installations but my monitor luckily had a usb port. -the Mic had some issues with Google talk, it raised the volume on the other end to an ear deafening level. This is the only program with that problem so it can be blamed on Google talk. -At night, or when it is not light in my room, my desk lamp causes an issue where my face gets washed out to the point where you cant see my facial features.

Other: Great camera for the price and it has been very reliable. I would recommended this if you are looking for a cheep webcam. I am planning on ordering another for my laptop.

Pros: good video quality much better than other VGA usb camera that i bought here for almost 13$

Pros: Good Quality Picture. Reasonable Frame Rate. Auto-Retractable USB cable. Automatic driver detection and installation. Reasonable microphone quality. Fairly durable so far. Inexpensive.

Cons: The clip to mount to the top of my laptop screen doesn't hold very tight. It hasn't fallen off, but it takes two hands to adjust the camera's aim.

Other: This is a great little camera for the price. I've had absolutely no complaints that bother me enough to impact my day to day use of the camera.

Pros: I ordered a number of cameras with microphone and compared them. This one is the best! Very well constructed with a true adjustable lense that allows you to focus on any distance between a few cm and infinite. Good image quality and sufficient framerate with image size 640×480. No visible noise. It comes without drivers, but it works instantly when plugged in my computer.

Cons: None.

Other: Very small, very cheap and very well constructed! I would recommend it to all my friends. Good Deal!

Pros: + Attractive price for a webcam. + Works as demonstrated and described. + Nice built quality, the clip has soft coating so it won't put scratches when clipped. + Appropriate for web-cam chatting. + Built-in microphone for voice chatting and recording.

Cons: + Packaging coould be better, comes in a thin plastic pouch. + Low frame rate. requires an independent source of light to work better.

Other: Buy it if you are looking for a very basic webcam with a microphone. It's good for video chatting.

Cons: Framerate is low as standard (50 hz, you have to change it to 60 hz to get a better framerate).
Video is grainy.
Low resolution.
NOT 1.3 MP like it says, the max resolution is 640*480.
Microphone quality is bad, it constantly makes a buzzing noise.
Requires tweaking the capture options to get decent quality.

Other: Not for people looking for a quality webcam, as the resolution is not what it says it is.
Framerate is pretty low (although it can capture 30 fps).
