Compact 1.3MP PC USB 2.0 Webcam with Built-in Microphone (Silver + Red)

Pros: straight out of the box, plug it into a usb port, and it's recognized and working. (my first test was with skype and it works fine.)
quite by accident, it was also already focused. the light sensitivity and colour rendition is a little nicer than my logitech quickcam zoom. and the funky stand is flexible and works well to level and aim the camera. once i finish checking it out, it will probably end up below my display, even though that's just a bit further back than i would like for video chatting.
it's also very small, which is a big bonus on my overly cluttered desk.
for me, the best news is that it works on a mac (g4, os x 10.4.11) without loading any (additional) software.

Cons: it has an analog microphone on a 2.5 mm stereo plug. why? it already plugs into a usb port on the computer, so why not use usb for audio as well?
also, for my purposes, a slightly longer focal length lens would be better, so i don't have to sit as close.

Other: a good little webcam and a great deal for the money!

Pros: - It's very compact so it's great to use with a laptop.
- It holds to any vertical edge.
- Can be turned to many positions.
- Video quality is reasonable, as expected.
- Works nicely under low-light conditions.
- Doesn't lag as much. (Tested on Skype.)
- Microphone volume is also good.

Cons: - Video is still a bit dark but you can still see well.
- The holding mechanism doesn't actually hold at all, it just clings to the screen. So any tug on the cable can displace it.

Other: It's a perfectly good and reasonably priced webcam, it looks very good and the build quality also seems solid. Outs out of the box with Windows 7 and that's all I wanted.

Pros: It's small... About 2" square.
It works well with both Skype and ooVoo in addition to my regular webcam software. WebCamMax also seems to work well with this webcam. No software conflicts noticed so far.

Cons: The clip could be better. It does not have a very firm grip, but it serves it's purpose I suppose. Image is somewhat dark, but can be adjusted if your cam software supports such a feature.

Other: Good price. Good quality. I'd buy it again.

Pros: Great little camera. The build is quite solid and both picture quality and audio is fine. I use Mac and was pleased see how it worked almost without any hassle (only problem was to find out which software it worked with) I can't say anything about the bundled software as it is Windows only.

Cons: The manual focus is a bit low-tech - but you don't have to move around a lot in front of the camera, it hardly matters. The stand has a bit of rubber, but it is rather light so it doesn't stand so well

Other: Decent OS X webcam. Worth the mony

Pros: -Stable base. Good flexibility to be oriented in any position. -Separate connector for microfoon and camera -Very well balanced auto colour scaling -Good picture quality even with low light intensity

Cons: Maybe, one to mention: No clip to hook onto the top of the screen

Other: Good build camera with great quality picture and sound. Ideal camera for Skype applied conferencing.
