Pros: Plays everything I can throw at it. Several connection options with cables included for most (coax excepted). Also numerous output formats. Amazingly small size, about equal to 1/2 a paperback book, with a mini remote to match. Installing a 2.5" SATA HDD is quick and simple with screwdriver and screws provided. OSD menu is reasonably intuitive. Dual USB cable can power and provide the data connection for PC file transfers.
Cons: Remote slow to respond at times. Oddly the file type seems to have to be anticipated on the OSD menu before playing - click on categories Video, Music or Photos as appropriate first before browsing files. For instance, click 'Video' and then try to play an MP3 or show JPGs - it won't. Connection cables are 'bigger' than the case - difficult to place on a surface without the cables flipping/dragging the player about.
Other: A small, adaptable, inexpensive, but very capable multi-format video player. Apart from a few little idiosyncrasies, I can't really fault it.

Pros: One of the best media player money can buy. Plays absolutely all the formats i tried.. AVI/ MKV/ RM/ MP4/ etc. Plays files from all external hardisks.. even with NTFS formats. Add an internal hardisk and attach an external one both show separately. Just insert the SD can and directly play the photos from the camera.
Very Easy to install the 2.5" HDD using the given screwdriver. No lags while playing HD content.
The best part ever is that it remembers more than 1 files where you played and stopped. It will ask you to start from where you stopped.. and that to for different files.
Cons: Gets a bit hot. Remote is pathetic.. doesn't respond sometimes.. very slow to respond. Doesn't support 1TB drive (according to the box. have not tried it).
The Overview on the site says it has got YPbPr interface.. which it doesn't. Only HDMI, AV, Coax.
Other: Definitely go for it if you are looking for a media player which can play anything as well as store your media files. Best product in the given price range.

Pros: - nice menu
- fast and easy navigation
- easy remote
- nice style of the player and remote
- plays alot of movietypes
- has hdmi and composite
- internal and external harddiscs STOP spinning after shutdown (and i have 2 other media players where it doesn't!!!)
- plug and play
- the fast forwards goes to 32x
- when file is ended it will start playing the next file
- and so on....
Cons: euuuu, maybe the manual is a bit small, but who reads that anyway...
Other: its one of the best mediaplayers i've had.
nice styling and plays alot of types and is still a hdd to travel with.

Pros: - Supports at least a 750 GB hard drive - Plays many different media formats - Comes with all the video cables you need - Saves settings between power disconnects - Can (mostly) be operated from the controls on the unit (see cons) - The menu is pretty good and does not really require a manual to figure out, which is good. - Support for several languages: Traditional and Simplified Chinese, English, Russian, Portugese, Spanish, Korean, Hungarian.
Cons: - Doesn't play every possible video format - Cable is not included for Coaxial Audio output - Not all buttons on the remote control work as labeled - Cannot change the video output format from the controls on the unit - remote is REQUIRED. - I have seen a lot of stuttering, jumping, freezing when playing some content that plays cleanly on other devices. VOB files seem to be the worst. - Doesn't seem to support DVD menus (could be just me)
Other: The absolute best use of this device is as something that you carry with you when you travel (that's how I use mine) and not as an every day at home unit. It lacks some of the features and interfaces of the other media players found on DX but it is a perfect travel companion. I cannot recommend this product more, in spite of the few very minor flaws.

Pros: Can read lots of formats;
An HDD can be easily installed;
Works great with portuguese subtitles; (You must set subtitle configuration as "european oriental", if I am not mistaken.)
Just one click to change audio or turn off subtitle;
Works great with my 640GB internal HDD. (You must format before it can be seen in Windows Explorer)
Cons: My USB external HDD didn't work, but it's OK for me, since I'll only use the internal HDD;
The remote control is a bit slow, but not that much. You shouldn't press the keys too fast. But works great.
Other: You won't regret buying this media player.
I bought another one.

Pros: Reads everything I give him.
Easy to install internal HDD and small size of player - not bigger than external HDD case.
Works OK with internal 2.5" 750Gb HDD (Western Digital) - one USB cable is enough to power HDD, no need to use extra USB cable to plug in.
Cons: I uses this mediaplayer in my car, and the worst thing - AV 3,5jack-3RCA cable provided with the player didn't worked with the player (but worked well with other devices), as well as others cabes I've bought. But my Canon camcorder AV cable worked well with this player. It seems, that AV connector in player is not standard, and you need longer AV jackplug.
Other: Cheap and good alternative case for 2.5" HDD, with the function of the mediaplayer. :) I Use it in my car via AV cable, and at home with HDMI. It would be great to change AV-HDMI mode more easily.

Pros: Size
Price
Plays almost everything
Great interface
Subtitles size,position and colors
Great image and soud
Internal HDD is very useful
It remember where you stop the movie and the next time you play that movie, it ask if you want to start from the begining or where you stop
Cons: Remote Control is sometimes slowly
Some videos stop to play, the media player doesn't accept data errors.
Other: Very good media player

Pros: This thing is awesome, opened her up to see names like samsung and Hyinx, the processor is some unknown brand, couldn't find a datasheet on it anywhere, there are pads for a serial connection on the board and it appears to be running linux, will hook up the serial cable later and experiment.
Cons: None, no cons, not yet at least, I removed the heatsink from the processor to examint it and haven't replaced it. the thing was still cool after running 10 hours straight in my daughters room.
Other: BUY this if you're tired of your kids ruining DVD's
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: I forgot to mention texas instruments and analogix, basically every chip in this thing besides the processor is name brand and has datasheets readily availible online. I will post pictures and data on serial access if possible, would be awesome to create custom firmware that adds a 3D conversion feature
Cons: None, this thing just keeps getting better.lets hack this thing and get even more out of her.
Other: a really wonderful, useful item and a great value, Buy 2, I am purchasing 4 more today!!!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Lightweight, stylish, versatile. It deals with most of the widely used video formats/subtitles. It can deliver HD ready and Full HD movies without any problems. Easy to switch (with one button) from analogue video (CVBS) to digital (HDMI).
Cons: Connectors are a little loose (mostly the CVBS video).
Other: It is a very good product for the price. Can be a "lifesaver" if you travel with kids :-)
I recommend you to buy it!
