Pros: Cheap way to get 3 extra USB ports. Works well with USB peripherals that have low power requirements or have their own power supply.

Cons: Struggles to work when multiple thumb drives connected, for example when you connect 2 transfash readers and 1 4gig USB thumb drive, and try to copy files from one drive to the other the transfer will often error out. Also didn't work at all with 2.5in portable hard drive.

Other: Good for the money within the limits already mentioned.

Cons: poor soldering on circuit board. some of the wires from the cable were not trimmed down enough - almost shorting together. Support arms on the usb ports were not soldered to the pcb which made it a bit weak when plugging in devices. would be an easy fix for anyone who knows how to solder.

Other: This hub with its short cable is perfect for extending some usb ports from the back of my computer to the front so I don't have to reach around to plug things in.

Pros: Has worked very well with both keyboard and mouse and occasionally a usb drive. Nice for the price for somewhat limited use. It does exactly what I need (allows me to connect keyboard and mouse to one usb port in laptop).

Cons: With no external power (just power from laptop/desktop usb connection), the power could be limited to run some devices. This was not a problem for my intended use.

Other: For my intended purposes, these have worked great. I have three of them and recommend them.

Pros: Very cheap price for a USB 2.0 hub.

Cons: Quality is not that great. It doesn't have external power so it limits the functionality of many power hungry devices. Many times, my external harddrives didn't work with it.

Other: Cheap, but not very reliable. If you intend to use it heavily, it's better to get a powered USB hub.

Pros: Works great for mouse, mp3-player and so on. Cable long enough to keep hub on top of cumputer.

Cons: Plastic does not fit perfect together.
House of USB connectors not soldered to pcb which means they are a bit loose when plugging in connectors.

Other: Great if the computer has too few USB connectors or if they are hard to reach behind the computer.

Pros: Cheap, Black has a DC Port

Cons: One port is a bit loose. No biggy.

Other: Buy one.
