When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: he has a good price (in th netherlands i pay 5€ for the's things)
good build quality.
it is an adapter and not a converter so youo have de fullspeed form you cf card (or the ide poort whene your cf card is faster)
Cons: the power connector is playst at the botem of the adapter witch is terible wen u want to gleu it in somting so it sta at his plays
they could bether makke is on top betwean the cf socket and the ide connector.
Other: buy 1 or 2 just in case you mes 1 up
koms in handy when you wana make a cheap solide state hardrive.

Pros: Very good one. Bought it as replacement of almost the same adapter that refused to support UDMA-33 transfers due to the wrong wiring. This one works perfect and my ST1 Seagate micro drive finally works in UDMA-33.
Soldering is good, it even comes with user manual. Master/slave switch.
Works with flash cards and micro drives (CF-II type)
Cons: I didn't found any so far.
Other: Perfect adapter specially for the low price.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Cheap and good CF to ATA converter, even UDMA works perfect. I've never found a cheaper CF to ATA adaptor.. The build quality is fine.
Cons: Most of the CF cards aren't too fast so when you are using it to install your OS on have alot of patience.
Other: Really nice and cheap CF to ATA converter. If you need it, buy it ;)

Pros: It works like a charm. Just plug in the CompactFlash Card, power (5V) and IDE Cable and you have a solid state harddisk for a very low price.
Nice build quality, no problems whatsoever with loose connectors.
Cons: But the speed was disappointing.
Other: Nice gadged for a low price, but I am now searching for a new use for this adapter, because the speed is to slow for use of solid state harddisk with Windows on it. Maybe it might be better with Linux on it?
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: this thing is about a 10th of the price of other CF to IDE adapters.Build quality appears to be good and the instructions included are actually USEFUL for once.
Cons: throughput speed. As others reviewers have noted this thing is SLOW.Probably NOT good as a main HDD in a laptop or desktop.
Other: If you just need a SSD to test hardware or software you are compiling and don't need fast read/write speeds then get it.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - very cheap - easy to use
Cons: - can't think of any really
Other: Cheap and easy compact flash to IDE SSD converter.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Cheap. Easy install. I use it with Kingston card 8GB 133x. It work perfect. Motherboard old ITX GA-PCV2 w/processor VIA C3 800 MHz. Speed data (with this card) like IDE HDD. System: Windows XP Embedded. Best emotions.
Cons: Not convenient plug 5V. I'm reinstalled it to another side of the board
Other: Best and cheap solution for the old platforms. I use it under system-disc in media-center.
