Pros: -VERY GOOD QUALITY! -Everything included in the box -PSP component output looks great on my LCD monitor :D -Yes,you CAN play games through this device!
Cons: USB power input
Other: If you don't have hdtv to use with your psp, then get this device instead - it will work with just any vga-input monitor. Video is crisp and clear!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Reasonably cheap and reasonable build quality. Good length VGA cable included as well as an RCA to 3.5 jack for plugging straight into amplified speakers. Small and portable even if you keep it in the box. The internet channel is heaps easier to read on the LCD than on the old CRT.
Cons: I bought to play with the Wii on my Benq FP222W LCD Monitor. Beware that if your going from 480i output to the LCD you must set it to 480p first or the picture will be out of range. It works okay but I have to adjust the picture to the extreme left on the Wii and the Monitor as well and it still doesn't quite get there (but is playable). It is also a little bit fuzzy on occasions. May work better on a CRT but I haven't tried it yet.
Other: Good price. Reasonable build quality. Be prepare d for imperfect picture if using it with a Wii and a Benq FP222W.

Pros: Very cheap XVGA box, works well with my Wii and my PSP. It was a little difficult to setup for the Wii on my 22" 16/10 LCD screen because i wasn't able to see the menu (my LCD screen doesn't support 50/60Hz mode) so i had to select the 480p mode without seeing anything, just with the vibration of the wiimote.
Cons: Sometimes it disconnects during 1 or 2 second (black screen). Don't know why, but at this price...
Other: A very cheap XVGA box. Don't mind the 1600*1200 limitation, it works on my viewsonic vx2240 @ 1680*1050

Pros: - Works with PC and Wii
- Easy to use
- Comes with a 1.5m VGA cable
- Great picture quality
Cons: - Uses USB power even in pass-thru mode!
- Zinc plated RCA-s, a bit cheapy
- A little unstable (wavy) picture after every boot of the PC, gone after a minute or so
- 1m USB cable isn't too long
Other: It is a must for people who willing to use the PC monitor for console gaming too.

Pros: This device is amazing,
I have a Bad small T.V with low resolution and i could NEVER see anything on it for gaming.
So i decided i wanted to play on my 24" monitor <3
I went to Wal-mart they had basically the same thing for 64$
I checked here and bought this in a heart beat
It has NEVER ONCE failed on me.
EASY EASY to use.
Uses a USB port to power not a annoying wall plug.
No flickering
No ghosting
Changes between computer and Console with a flick of a switch (literally)
Lets you play your favorite games in HD
Supports up to 1600X1200
Cons: Only uses component cables ( Red, Blue, Green )
You kinda of S.O.L if you don't have a speaker adapter... ( White,Red To 2.5mm Green,Black,Orange)
Price is a bit high (but compared to future shop and wal-mart its a deal)
Other: Bottomline: This is one of the most usful things Ive bought from DX i use it almost everyday,
Get it if you hate playing on LOW resolution TV's

Pros: - Component input means sharp image, and it does appear better than the TV tuner that I have for the LCD monitor.
- Very small compared to what I've used before, so can be tucked away easily, for example behind the monitor.
Cons: - The location of the switch is annoying - I like to hide the device somewhere so it doesn't make my desk look messy (it's always got a lot of things on it anyway!), but because of the location of the switch, and the lack of remote, means it's inconvenient when I want to do that.
- Doesn't have anything that lets you switch between two audio inputs to your speaker.
- Only component input, meaning some older devices that don't have component outputs can't be used with this.
Other: Not too bad, for the price.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Hooks up relatively easily. Had a little difficulty understanding what goes where until I noticed the diagram on the back of the box.
Like $60 less expensive than something you would find at a local store.
Shipped really quickly. I expected it to take weeks, but it showed up a few days later.
Cons: Kinda cheap looking.
The cable could be a bit longer, but it's adequate.
Other: If you move around a lot like me and don't want to bring a TV with you everywhere, this will let you play console games fine.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It works with the xbox 360 but the screen looks kind of squished on a dell 2001fp. Another thing that is important to know. You must set your xbox 360 to 720p or this won't work. you can't even adjust it with the composite cable. You have to hook this thing up to an HDTV TV, then set it to 720P and then it will work on this device.
Cons: I was thinking that this adaptor would convert any component signal to work properly with the monitor. I think this is just a simple switchbox, correct me if i am wrong.
Other: It works for the $$s. you may want to consider the NEOYA X2VGA device instead.

Pros: Great item.
The reason I bought is because my XCM 1080p Mega-cool vga box went KAPUT on me. :( Never figured out why.
So instead of dishing out an extra $90usd after shipping, I came searching here on DX to see if I can find something similar under $40.
And I did. With free shipping no less! :D
-Works
-Now I can play on my 22" Widescreen once again.
-USB powered. Definate Plus. Just plug it into the BACK OF YOUR WII. :D
-PC --> GAME with the click of a button. (if you are using VGA for pc to monitor)
-Small and compact.
-Comes with VGA cable.
Cons: -Need EDTV/HDTV to setup initially. (go to a friends or a Futureshop/Best Buy)
-Need to AUTO-ADJUST widescreen monitor to get full picture. no biggie.
-
Other: Great product. Amazing price. USB powered (Wii powered lol)
Actually works as opposed to not working. :)
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -very good price compared at others products like this
-its perfect for playing xbox 360 in a monitor, I am using a LG W2284f and its perfect. Theres is a little black line at the left, but it was expected, since my monitor is 16:10 and not 16:9 like a tv wide screen.
-Its very easy to assemble.
-The material seens to be good
Cons: -None...
wait... the VGA cable that comes stinks... hehe, but no problem on that.
Other: buy
