What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: More useful than the little boxes. Solid plastic with metal springs so that the lid flips open. One of these matches 3 of the little ones in length, same width.
Cons: Pretty expensive compared to other storage solution, e.g. used vegemite jars!
Other: Useful if you want neat storage.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Stack nicely, works with smaller, similar units. The lid is spring loaded, so even though the latch is tiny, and slight touch and it pops open
Cons: These are very small, which is not completely apparent. Perfect for small things though, like tiny screws, electronic components.
Other: These are pretty neat, but a bit expensive
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: You can keep adding more and more of these together. I'm slowly building an electronics 'wall' of these, to hold a couple of resistors, capacitors, diodes etc. as I only have a few of each, there is plenty of space. Modulate well with the 20x yellow small cubes I've got.
Cons: You should be able to buy particular colours individually, not the 'pot luck' guess.
They are no way near heavy duty, but are not delicate.
Other: If you have a few electronic components, get a few packs of these and slowly add to your 'wall' over time to build a good stock of storage for little bits and bobs!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: good for resistors of ic's, the smaller version won't fit resistors
Cons: hard too say, does what its ment to do, coulor is random
Other: get alot of these if you're nto diy electronics

Pros: Whether you have one object, or multiple, these boxes will have a purpose in your household
Cons: Many will find the "Thumbnail" opening tab a difficulty, but if your fingers are not agile enough, any other object such as a pen, or similar object will suffice to open them
Other: Many have mentioned that color choices are minimal, but some creativity with the rainbow of markers out there will change that. I doubt that there is any hobbyist out there who CANNOT find a use for at leat a dozen of both these, and their smaller brethern

Pros: Along with the small boxes(I bought 50 of them, 5 pieces, with wholesale discount!) I bought a set of this boxes, they will perfectly fit in the small one array. There is a spring mechanism on the top that will open the box with a single finger movement.
Cons: Colours are just BAD!!! I wish they were of a single colour non toy-like. Also for this a label to be applied on top of the boxes could be useful.
Other: I didn't need really those big boxes, but I found something to put inside, you will always find some little, tiny things that were around and now have a place!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -> These boxes are well made, could be better, but they work well and have a sping action on the top.
-> These boxes can be stacked, forming a big array... its good, but if you drop it you better wish they remain closed... its good, they don't open easily.
Cons: -> Very small, it doesn't fit my leds... I tried to put 50 5mm leds, but it can't hold... maybe 25, but I have 125 leds, I would need 5 boxes. But it can hold electronic components, not just that much.
-> Its a bit fragile, the lid can be easily broken...
Other: Small boxes, cute but a bit useless
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: * Nice to organize small things.
* The lid is easy to open and will stay open until you close (it has some type of spring).
* Enough space for electronic components.
Cons: * Seems a bit too fragile.
Other: The size is about right for electronic components (but maybe a bit too big for SMD).
I'm buying more of these. If you are in doubt about buying these rectangular boxes or those cubic boxes, I would suggest buying these ones, because those cubic boxes are too small.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Its built with a good plastic and has a good system to close. It wont open easily and its great to keep things like screws in a temporary box, during a fixing.
You may join several pieces, making room to store more parts and components.
System to join pieces is very good and the whole system will be well attached.
Cons: Its not so big and this can be a problem if you are fixing some device with too many parts. At least you may join another box to make more room.
Other: Its very cheap and we can buy more to join them.

Pros: My husband recieved this yesterday for Christmas and although he was confused about it at first he fell in love with the fact that he can put any tiny parts he tends to lose in these boxes and keep them together.
Cons: The small size is the only real con and so we've learned to just deal with it.
Other: If you need a place to hide tiny little sd cards or screws these are great boxes for the price.
