Replacement Refillable Ink Cartridges for Canon IP3300/IP4200/IP4500/IX4000/IX5000/IP3000

Pros: These refillable ink cartridges are great with my Canon iP4200. They comes with reset-able chip so you do not need to manually reset the ink cartrudges. They fit perfectly on to the printer ink tray, just need to make sure you use a clean tissue paper to wipe the chip contact before inserting in to the printer to clean out any dirt or stain allowing the printer to make proper contact, else the ink cartridge red light may not lit up.

Cons: The only con I could see is that I do not know when the ink cartridges is empty and could then allow air bubbles to get in to the print head. So you may need to check the ink level manually after some amount of printing. and do not let the ink level goes empty

Other: Great price as the cost of 1 original ink cost just as much.

Pros: It seem that these refillable cartridges aren't easily available everywhere, perhaps it's because they are used on older Canon printers? A DX salesperson helped me find them. And they work good. Installed right away into the printer without any fuss from the printer software about ink levels. The hole is plugged with a rubber/silicon plug and it's actually large enough so you can push part of the tip of the syringe into it, which means you don't need a needle at all (that can be difficult to get). I've had it about 2 weeks - works great so far!

Cons: So far so good...!

Other: Good price considering how many replacement cartridges it would replace. And shipping is free!
