Convenient Garlic Peeler

Pros: + very useful indeed

+ like everything here, its darn cheap.
+ work for small shallots too.

Cons: - only work on dry surface. since its rubber/ silicone, it will just slide on wet and smooth surface.
- only can peel 2-4 garlic at once depending on the size.

Cons: I spend a lot of time on kitchen, but i Haven`t found? this gadget useful for me. It seems i spend much more time trying to find it magical convenience, than really get it. I experienced with one, two and three garlics, but even after partial cleaning with knife, this tube still unsuccessful ((( I was rolling it in table and in hands, but no results

Pros: It peels garlic in a few seconds. You have to put the peeler on a table, put the garlic cloves in and then press a little. Then you start to roll the pealer back and forth a few times. The garlic cloves come out peeled. It's easy to use and you don't have to use a knife or hands. Your hands wont smell of garlic.

Cons: For me it works with 1 or max 2 garlic cloves. It doesn't work well if you put more then 2 cloves. Sometimes the peel remains a little attached to the clove and you have to remove it with the fingers, but it's not a big problem.

Other: My mother and I always use it when we need garlic. She is not a person who likes to have superfluous tools on her kitchen table but she keep this garlic peeler always at hand.

Pros: Excellent and useful gadget. No more smelly fingers from peeling tons of garlic. Two seconds and you have a perfectly peeled garlic ready for the cooking.

Cons: Not really a con but the pink one shown in the description looks more like some weird kind of male, uhh, pleasure device than something you would use in the kitchen. Luckily mine were blue and thus quite a bit more innocent looking.

Pros: Easy to peel garlic cloves. Take a clove, put it in the tube, and crunch the outer layer off. I've never seen anything similar to this in my country.

Cons: Need to cut the end of the clove of, to ease usage. It is a bit slippery on a wet surfaces, but you should keep your kitchen bench cleen and dry at all times. "Garlic" is mispelled on the product itself (Gaylic), which might be a problem if you're going to give it away as a gift.

Other: I would recomend this to anyone who uses garlic often in the kitchen and feel the price is right.

Pros: It's very easy to use. Simply insert garlic cloves into the tube, apply a light preassure with the palm of your hand and roll the tube back and forth on your counter top. This leaves you with perfectly peeled garlic, and for a finishing touch just trim the root end off the clove. The peeler is made from silicone is light weight and easily stored.

Cons: There are NO cons with this product.
