Convenient Thumb Thing Book Holder (21mm Diameter)

Pros: It is convenient, especially when trying to hold books that like to close by themselves with one hand. I can also stand up and make a book face me directly with one hand. The thumb hole is reasonably sized so that many sizes of thumbs can fit inside. The edges are smooth so nothing is sharp. Papers won't rip with this tool.

Cons: none

Other: It makes holding a book with one hand easier, because the left and right sides of the book can't fold inward while using this book holder tool.

Pros: - Great little 'gadget' for anyone who likes to read with one hand.
- Fit my thumb fine, but I don't have large thumbs.
- holds the book open more easily than with your thumb alone.

Cons: - Depending on the pressure, it may crease your book (visible lines on the page after using)

Other: - Get one now. But why stop there? Get 5, 10, 15! Give one to everyone you know. They get really cheap past 5 on bulkrate :p

Pros: Amazingly good quality for what it is. I expected it to be a cheap plastic but it's actually a nice quality and feels really great too. I really hope this is a beginning of a good trend on DX to see great inventions and cool unique toys and ideas here.

Cons: No cons really, it does what it's supposed to and feels good on the thumb.

Other: Makes a great little treat for anyone that likes to read novels. It is afterall, a novel idea. Pardon the pun.

Pros: Useful product. I didn't buy it for myself cos I'm not really a reader. I do have one left from gifting though and I might just use it in future.

Cons: Considering the material used, price could be lower. Maybe some thing like a 2-pack for this price would be reasonable. I ordered a couple and most came with some random black (dirt?) mark though it was still inside wrapping. Non-removeable. Not that it actually affected the use but for gifting it's kinda disappointing. Another reviewer mentioned that it might leave marks on your books, I think that's a valid concern especially if you use too much force or if the book is heavy.

Other: Buy.

Pros: If you, like me, are a bedroom reader, you know how troublesome it can be to keep the pages from turning when you're reading in bed. This wacky thing will prevent just that at a decent price.

Cons: The hole for your thumb is rather small so you could have trouble fitting it (but you'll already know this from the description), but it's nothing an exacto knife can't fix.

Other: Affordable and convenient gizmo for any bedroom reader or just for reading on the beach. This this is great for any bookworm.

Pros: * some complain about it being expensive for such a small peice of plastic, but, youre paying for ingenuity here. * it is pretty much like the original, with the exception of the size rating marked on the thumb thing. the size go small, medium, large, extra large. the thumb things sold by DX match the large ones, and theyre possibly the most versatile size out of the lot. * the thumb thing is great because it allows for one handed reading. it is so small and convenient theat you can easily put it in your pocket, or a bag for when you go to the beach, and it is so cheap on bulk rate prices, that you can buy many and have them lying around all over the house and cheap enough to give away to other book readers. * it is so comfortable to wear, no more aching hands from having to strain to hold a book open on long reading sessions.

Cons: * the one con is DX should get extra large ones in too. though as i said before, large is a good size of this product.

Other: buy some, and make sure to buy more than one, buy 10 or so with the bulk rate option, theyre soooo cheap. :D

Pros: - Looks cool anywhere you use it (subway, street, class).
- Really creative.
- Not that expensive for such an unusual item.
- It actually helps to keep the book open with just one hand, and It can be really helpul if you only can count with one hand and little space.

Cons: - Not that convenient, since it gets a little more tricky to turn the pages. Also, if you are reading with only one hand due to lack of space (as in a crowded subway), you possibly won't be able to turn the pages.
- The pages you use end up marked with the force of the device, so it could slightly damage your book.

Other: Interesting item, do what it is supposed to do.

Pros: This thumb thing book holder is AWESOME! I always wanted to read books using just one hand but I always found it was useless to try since the book always closed over my thumb. When I receive it and made the first test I was like OMG this works!!!

Cons: I know it is a really unique thing but I think the price could be a little lower. Also some people stare at me at the bus since they dont know what it is.

Other: This is a great buy and I do not regreat it. It could have other colors too.

Pros: with this youre able to hold your books in ... one hand! it will open wideee so your feel comfortable, you also dont have to use much pressure (but it depends on the book) AWESOME PRICE! you can buy some to round your order up and get DX points, and then give it to friends... they will love you and worship you for eternity... i think... theres really not much to say, its jsut a 1$ book holder ...so

Cons: only useful for small books. the material breaks easily.

Other: Great. Cheap. Useful. Funny.

Pros: I think this is quite a neat invention for those who need to read using just one hand. For me though, I don't really need to but I can think of one occasion e.g. I am reading an apple and I want to read the book lolz. Then this tool may come in handy. I did try it and it feels okay. It works fine too.

Cons: No cons, none that I can think of at the moment. But this thing is small (of course) so you might accidentally misplace it if you are not careful.

Other: It's really nice to get one if you read often with one hand. It's so incredibly cheap anyway so you might as well buy one - it sure will come in handy when you need it. :)
