Cool Movie/Film Action Board Clock (220V AC)

Pros: Looks incredibly professional - like it's just been taken right out of a movie studio and repurposed as a clock. The "clapper" part is springy and can be clapped down just like the real thing. The stand on the back can easily be removed, which might be handy if you wish to hang it on a wall. The numbers are good and bright, too, and the milliseconds countdown is rather fun to watch.

Cons: None that I'm aware of, although if you're from a country that doesn't use a ~220-240v/50Hz electricity supply the power requirement could probably be considered a con.

Other: A perfect clock for a movie fan. Very stylish.

Pros: Looks like the real thing and has a nice springy Clack action on clapper. This was purchase late in 2008 for Christmas and has been running all year without a problem.

Cons: None. The only thing we have had to do was reset the year because at the end of 2009 it went to 2000. However you can set it to 2010 so no problem. 240 v ac but people in Australia will need a plug converter.

Other: A great clock for a media arts student. A good item to talk about.

Pros: Very good product. Exceeding all expectations he had and the quality of material and finish is excellent and the price is lower than the other places that have it in their lists. Highly recommended.

Pros: 1. This is one of my best buy from DX. It feels and look more expensive than the price i paid.
2. i particularly like the 1/10 sec digital movement, makes the clock 'alive' 24/7 anytime.
3. The face of the clock is glossy, beautifully crafted.
4. The clapper stick works too just the real one.
5. Another plus point is that the design allows you to have the option of placing it on the desktop or wall mounted.

Cons: 1. i've ordered 5 pieces to date but the color of the digital display varies in colors. Two of them are RED while the other three are in DARK ORANGE. Not that it matters a lot though.
2. The clock operates on AC supply only. You'll have to deal with the power cable from the back of the clock. An option to operate with batteries would be great. It'll make the clock a cleaner display without the cable.
3. The clock is about 3 minutes slower after running for more than a month. Need to readjust the time once in awhile. This is a compromise i willingly accept.

Other: i first saw something similar to this clock in a friend's office. It stands out uniquely and is a conversational piece. When i saw it in DX, with the attractive price, i ordered it without any hesitation. Now it's sitting nicely in my office and colleagues are admiring it from time to time. By the way, i've purchased 4 more pieces since then. My genuine thought for this product is one full of satisfactory. If you need an attractive clock, buy it. It's also a great gift for your loved ones. Very good product.

Cons: -you may think that teh voltage would be a problem (220v)...I turned on in 110v and it worked!
No problems with the font.
You can buy a 110v font too...if you want.

Pros: - It's a very original idea.

- The Clapper is the SNOOZE function, how cool is that!
- Cheaper than normal store prices.
- Quality is really good.
- Good size for reading from a distance, yet small enough not to stand out in a small room.
- Can be hung on a wall or put on a flat surface with the included stand

Cons: - I actually don't like the smallest 1/10 sec movement, it raminds you time is ticking away.
- Packaging is a bit rudimentary, so if you're gonna use it for a gift i suggest repackaging it
- Manual is also a bit simple, but at this price you can't complain and everything is explained.

Other: If you hesitate, don't it works perfect (in my case).
I would get it just for the SNOOZE clapper function. Action !! NOT !!! :)

Pros: This was a real surprise, it is superb quality and a very neat looking clock indeed.
It doesn't feel cheap, it is sturdy and gives an exclusive impression.
The digits are all easy to read.
I didn't know of the alarm function when I placed the order.
You can set an alarm and when the alarm sounds, you turn it off by pressing the clapper. Very neat!

Cons: None really.
The only thing I could think of would be that it isn't possible to run the clock on batteries, the AC power always has to be plugged in.

Cons: - had to buy an Australian power plug adapter (SKU: 55708) but that was easy! - no other cons.

Pros: Good appearance, finishing, functional, works very well. Cool design.

Cons: There is no instructions... But who needs it to set an alarm clock? Could have integrated FM Radio and/or CD or MP3 player. It would be much better to wake up with music...
