Brass Combination Pad-lock

Pros: cheap lock without the hassle of keys. 4 digits should give more security than 3 digits? :P

Cons: the lock it self is pretty good. but the digit dials feel a little bit flimpsy.

Pros: This has got to be one of the best purchases I've made on Deal Extreme! Not only is the product useful and cheeap, but it the instructions for it really made my day! I'll try to put up a picture of it when I get a chance.

Cons: Since the instructions made no sense, I had to figure out how to set my own combination by myself, which wasn't TOO bad.

Other: Not only is it useful, but it's funny as well!

Pros: Great little locks. Well built and quite strong for the size. They make ideal suitcase locks. Really handy for situations where multiple locks with similar keying are required, and there is no chance of losing keys!

Cons: My locks were in the wrong packaging - the picture was different and there were no English instructions. However, a previous review on this site explained how to set the locks, i.e.: turn the loop around until it is directly opposite the locking positionand push down. Turn the reels to the desired combination and unlock the lock. It should now be ready to be used with the new combination.

Other: A great little lock , especially for the price.

Pros: You can change the combination whenever you want. It seems to be solid and strong. Cheaper than similar ones in DIY local shops, but not better price than chinese local shops.

Cons: The package doesn't belong to this model, so the combination change instructions doesn't work for this. I knew how to do it because I have another one I bought in a local shop.

Other: The ring diameter is quite small, like 2 or 3 mm.
DX should add this measures to the specs:
diameter of the ring and space between the ring.

Pros: Looks perty strong, the long loop made it easy to fit through the hole in my toolbox. The fact that you can set your own code makes it a very pleasant lock. No keys, just a number you probably already remember (pin number or something)

Cons: Manual was an absolute fail. It was for a completely different model hence it lost 3 ease of use points. I had to figure out myself how to change the numbers.

Other: Cheap, strong, why not?

Pros: -Build quality is excellent!
-Lock feels solid, strong and heavy in the hand for its size which is a good thing for padlocks.
-Four digit combination lock is nice. More security than the three digit combinations that are usually around.
-Nice long hook or hoop for more versatility when it comes to locking things e.g. multiple zippers on a suitcase.

Cons: -You have to be pretty precise when you line up the numbers when your unlocking it. make sure you can feel th 'click'.
-Instructions as like everyone else has said are useless but most of us know hot to use and set the code on one of these. If not, theres some good instructions in some other reviews

Other: I bout a few of these for my trip to Thailand and they served me well so i highly recommend them!

Pros: 4 digit padlock! it means 10000 combinations. Very usefull for a trip or to go to the gim.
It's very easy to change the combination:
1 - open it
2 - put it the "U" in the oposite side of locked position and press
3 - put the combination you want
4 - Done

Cons: I think it is not a high quality padlock and mine came with oxide on it. But it doesn't matter. I scratched it a bit and it dissapeared.

Other: I'll try to find another one bigger than this.
But as I said for a trip or a tent it will be perfect! you won't have to worry about the keys of the traditional ones.
I use mi mobile pin and it works perfect!
