Cree 1W LED Lantern Camping Light - Retail Pack (3*AA Included)

Pros: Its a fairly small lantern for the amount of light it puts out. Runs on 3 AAA batteries (included) which are relativly easy to find and replace. Has 3 modes: High, low, slow strobe. Has a good feel to it from the rubber caps on both ends to the aluminum body.

Cons: The worst thing about this light is the ugly beam pattern. The reflector where the light shines has a wavy circular pattern which results in a ringy beam pattern. The emitter itself is on a rather large aluminum heat sink but that gets fairly hot fairly fast, so without any part of it exposed to air I'm not sure how good it would be for the LED in the long run. The clip that came with it has a weak plastic S shaped hook to attach it to the lamp. Not very sturdy so I wouldn't trust using it on anything that moves. The LED is also fairly bright so its blinding to look in its direction.

Other: For its size it's good, but you might need to make some sort of diffuser so it dosen't blind you or leave rings around the ground.

Pros: Very Bright, very uniform light output, Small, Rugged Construction, Lightweight

Cons: Small plastic clips are not easily removed from the yellow clip holder thingies, and break easily if you try to remove them.

Other: Very good buy, i am so pleased with this little lantern, i could not believe how small it was.
I have used it camping and it will illuminate the campsite better, quicker and easier than anything else i've ever used, It is very user friendly. 1 button operation for lo-beam/hi-beam/off with a flashing led so you can find it in the dark. For the price it cannot be beaten.

Pros: It’s a good lanter, i didnt thought it would have so much amount of Light It is really nice for camping and excursions or fishing at nigth It is not very stylish, you can find other better looking ones easily, but maybe they dont have as much Light.

Cons: It is made of plastic and it doesnt look very very ressitant, but it is ok if you treta it correctly and you dont give it a lot of strikes

Other: At this price, it looks the best option, if you want to find any other with better quality, you have to pay much more monay than this cost.
