Cree Q3-WC 2-Mode 130-Lumen White + Purple LED Head Light (3*AA)

Pros: Very bright.

Cons: Poor quality. Just got it in the mail and there were already three rusted screws out of four screws in the battery pack unit. One of the positive terminals did not even make contact with the battery. I had to carefully pry out the positive plate and bent it forward to fill the gap so that it would touch the battery. The battery pack is enclosed by a simple rubbery cap. In the picture there are four bulges. You may think those bulges would be uncomfortable to the back of the head, but because the entire cap is soft rubber material those bulges are really soft against the head. The rubbery cap does not appear to keep out rain. Appears very cheap.

Other: Very bright spot and not enough spill. Cheap and lacks quality. For the price of $12 it's good enough if you can make it work, and only us it indoors.

Pros: Very bright lamp.
The blue/purple LEDs are
works both with regular and rechargable batteries (See remark at CONS section).
Easy and comfortable headset.
Has a gentle red light at the back that helps signaling yourself without blinding others

Cons: rechargable batteries are a bit thicker and won't make contact. If you wnat to use them you have to bend the positive plates froward ant then it works perfectly
The head band sometimes alips out of it's place but only when is is not streched. On the head this never happens

Other: Great head lamp. Bought one for me and one for my brother. He uses it a lot on many occasions and is very satisfied

Pros: confortable to wear, bright white spot, also the UV-LEDs are bright

Cons: the rubber of the battery case is smelling very bad guess it is polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) GERMAN: polyzyklischen aromatischen Kohlenwasserstoffen (PAK). This part is in direct contact with your head/hair. Biggest problem: The push button which switches between bright white LED to UV has sporadically problems. When turining on UV the white light goes on also :-(((

Other: Idea of device is great, but device has to be overworked...

Pros: It is a great head light, very powerful and comfortable to use. UV leds are also powerful

Cons: It does no work with rechargable batteries. UV leds could be annoying and dangerous (because of UV light). It smells funny. Battery contacts has oxide, so this is strange because it is brand new (I supose that...)

Other: It is a great product. I found it very useful because I often work as a mechanic and it help me to light unreachable areas. I receive it this morning, and I found it very useful.
