Pros: - Super bright light in a nice, slightly blue, shade of cold white. - Nice blending of the large hot spot and corona, produces a nice and even beam even though the emitter is off center. - The reflector is clearly designed for XP-E/G emitters.
Cons: - The emitter wasn't centered properly. - It has a ridiculous drive current of 1.8A when driven off of two 16340s, will need to fix that.
Other: Good drop in, astonishingly bright.

Pros: great emitter with a good driver. so far. mine is fairly neutral tint for being a high powered cree cool white led. only a small amount of blue tint. very bright, rivals my mce. more throw, obviously
Cons: the taper of the pill is wider than other p60 drop ins and subsequently the lens cap of my g2 nitralon will not screw down completely
Other: i will take the emitter out and mod it into my rcg2

Pros: This is a good, solid drop-in module. I bought it for a 4-cell Ultrafire WF-501D. With 4 - Trustfire 16340 batteries (the protected grey-jacket units) it is bright, like others have reported. There were no length or size issues dropping it in.
Cons: In the past, I have run this torch with a R2 module (11836) and twin Trustfire TR18650 2500 mAh (blue case) batteries. It is bright and dependable. Today I tested both the R2 and this module in the same torch with 4 freshly charged 16340 Trustfire (grey) batteries. In my opinion, the R2 is slightly brighter. Given this module costs approximately 50% more than the R2 drop-in, I gave it a 3 on value and usefulness.
Other: Buy the R2 if price vs brightness is what works for you. This one works, and will throw lots of light. It just costs more than the R2.

Pros: This is a really bright light, longer run time than the r2, it is as bright as the r2, and thats a good thing
Cons: not 320 lumens, r2 got much better trow wen u use 123a and than a 18650 it doesent like it that much,
Other: youre better off wen you buy the r2 drop-in but for a wide beam you have to buy this one so first spent youre money on a r2 than buy this one for fun ore smt

Pros: Very well constructed, the reflector is made of metal and can unscrew off the LED pill, the LED is securely epoxied to the heatsink/pill and the entire drop in feels very substantial and heavier than i expected. Dropin comes with 2 springs, had to remove the larger spring to fit in my Surefire G2 but had to use the spring to fit in my Solarforce/Ultrafire P60 hosts. In both cases, the dropin fits perfectly with no rattling even when you shake the light very hard. The orange peel coating on the reflector is not too heavy, its a very subtle light orange peel and smoothens the beam immensely. This dropin runs on both 18650 and 2xRCR123s with no discernible difference in output (to my eye)
Cons: None that i can see
Other: Get it!!! It's great!!! See my other review

Pros: Excellent product. Like others have said, its a has more of a flood in its beam. But, I found that exactly what I was looking for. The R2 has just a little too small of a beam for me. This light easily lights us the area out to 75 yards in front of you. ...and it seem to be about 20% brighter than the R2.
Cons: None
Other: If you'd like a light to cover a larger area in front of you....this is it.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: None I can think of, really.
Cons: -Output very overrated. Measured at ~220 OTF lumens in integrating sphere. I have an old XR-E Q5 drop-in that's brighter than that
-Very high CCT, with annoying angry blue tint
-Reflector seems to be a poor match for emitter, focused imperfectly, resulting in floody beam
Other: Skip it.

Pros: It has a little wider light beam that makes it more useful than the majority of other lights.
Compared to my other torches with R2 this is much brighter, more then twice the light output. The beam is wider and give a more useful coverage of bright light (compare to R2). It works on a single Lithium-Ion cell as well as with more cells in series (higher voltages).
Cons: It gets too hot. The current drawn from a single Lithium cell is 2A. That will decrease the autonomy dramatically.
On mine I replaced the current limiting resistor of the regulating circuit to one of larger value in order to decrease the current drawn by the LED. The original resistor was 0.12 ohms and I put a 0.18 ohms.
It gets slightly warm but not hot now. The light output is less but still much more than with my R2 (about twice brighter than R2).
Other: The LED its self is more efficient and give more lumen/watt than any other LED in the market at this moment. More efficient than the R2, look at the data-sheets if you have time.

Pros: Very bright for a small drop in module. Fits my surefire 9P like a glove. Much brighter than the expensive LED I ordered from Surefire. Plus Free shipping from DX.
Cons: The first one I received was a dud it ran only a few minutes then quit. The led was soldered on crooked. DX Replaced it free of charge. I order another and I now have two which are working great.
Other: Buy it. It's great. I am running with three CR 123 trustfires in a Surefire 9p.
It is WAY better than the module surefire sells for much more money.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very bright, natural cool color of light. I checked the module with 3V to 12 V, quite precisely at 3.6V the output stabilizes - before it is flickering a little. I measured 500mA @ 3,6V Good wide beam - I like that for working in dark places. This is caused by the orange peel reflector providing a more useful spill beam with a cleaner presentation. While reducing overall throw it adds a very usefull amount of light to the spill area while making for a more pleasing beam quality.
Cons: I use it in exchange for a xenon module in a "police" lamp, in comparison the aluminum reflector is much thinner - i dunno if that is a drawback.
Other: I really like it.
