CREE XP-G R51B 7000K 350LM Emitter with 14mm Base

Pros: Very Bright, Perfect color temperature!

Cons: Mine died two days ago for no apparent reason. It still lights up but very, very dim.

Other: I purchased two of these and upgraded a Q3 and Q5 AA EDC's that I use quite often. I really liked the extra performance and the increased battery life these R5's provided. My friend also ordered one and he is over driving it with much success. One only lasted two months drivin at only 800mA but the other is still going strong at 1000mA and my friends has lasted over a month at 2000+mA which is practically triple the brightness and easily beat my P60 R5 driven at 1200mA!

Cons: Not a direct replacement for the XR-E emitters

Other: Not a direct replacement for the XR-E due to the very small form-factor. If you can make it work, it is well worth the upgrade. Don't forget to upgrade your driver to 1400ma at the same time to get the most out of it. The XP-G emitters do seem to exhibit a lot of usable spill.

Pros: - It's very very bright and very very small

Cons: - The LED silicone dome is dirty ... I think this is packaging fault (The package is an air bubble bag). I order two XP-G LED and both of their domes ... dirty. - I don't know how these things are affect the strength of the light

Other: If you need a small, bright, efficient LED, buy this.
