Cree XR-E P4 LED Emitter on Star (Black)

Pros: - works perfectly fine. - soldering to the board is excellent

Cons: - the star is noticeably thinner than the "non-budget" cree (this may actually be a pro if you need the start to be a lower height.

Other: Do not hesitate in grabbing these if you need a budget priced Crees. Works just fine with cree optics, etc.

Pros: Very well made combo of emitter and star. I've ordered powerleds from China before, but none this well made. Very good quality product.

Cons: Don't know if it's possible, but if they where a bit cheaper I would buy even more of these puppies.

Other: Very good LEDs and very bright at the rated current.

Pros: Cheap (bought 38 with volume discount)

Hard dome that will not scratch or get dust
Well soldered on star board
Consistent tint through the batch

Cons: None

Other: Nice leds with good build quality. Compared to Q5, these are much cheaper. I prefer to add some Leds to achieve a high luminous flux. The white is quite cold but without any blueish or greenish tint. It's quite good to have a hard dome if the leds are to stay uncovered. Would like DX to propose more neutral and warm white power leds.

Other: i definitely recommend this product....with the kind of abuse it was put under when i was working on it...it still worked...
