Crystal Transparent Replacement Controller Housing for Wii (with Installation Kit)

Pros: Came with screwdriver and everything needed (screws, buttons etc), well made, everything fits / looks great! Takes about 10 mins to fit from start to finish.

Cons: No letters / icons on buttons, other than that none, reused original screws as supplied ones didn't work too good.
Also comes with no instructions, but theres plenty of tutorials available to help destroy - erm i mean take the wiimote apart (It does spectactularly fall into a lot of bits!)
Also remember to remove the metal battery connectors from the original wiimote casing.

Other: If you want a clear wiimote - then this is for you!

Pros: Cheap(so your not wasting loads of money on your wii) Really clear(not frosted glass look just clear) can use the orignal wiimote buttons(im not kean on clear buttons) fits 100% same as orignal Comes with screwdriver and screws
has loop hole for wiimote strap

Cons: hard to get the battery metal thing out of wiimote
screws dont do up the just spin(but hold the wiimote together still)
if you use the orignal "- and +" buttons they spin around.(thats why i gave the Build Quality 4 star Rating)

Other: this is amazing case. its great to show off as you can see inside.

Cons: only 1, the battery door could be a bit more of a snug fit, but its livable

Other: for the gamer who loves to customize his/her console its well worth the purchase, i intend on buying 3 more so all 4 wiimotes are clear.

Pros: Beautiful looking shell replacement. Includes a complete set of clear buttons, or you can use the standard WiiMote buttons. Very high quality/grade plastic, doesn't show fingerprints. Comes with a tri-wing screwdriver, which adds GREAT VALUE to the package, and can be used to open the Wii console, DS and DS Lite!

Cons: As stated in other reviews, the - and + buttons will spin 360 degrees when used in the clear shell ... but that does not affect their oprational status. Also the area of plastic around the vibration unit is a microscopic bit larger than an actual Wiimote, which causes a bit of a buzzing noise when it vibrates.

Other: Do you want to have the coolest Wiimote on the block? Well, what are you waiting for?? BUY IT! NOW!

Pros: This thing is one of the rare items that fits perfectly the first time. Comes with EVERYTHING you need. Great quality.

Cons: The 4-direction pad replacement was a little flakety and didnt make perfect contact with the internal switch well when playing games like Bomberman... I just swapped it out for the white original and it works great. That was the ONLY poor fitting piece for me. Probably un-noticeable to most other people/Games

Other: For 10$ i got one. If they were $7 i would have replaced all 4 of my controllers.

Pros: - Excellent Price, because the quality is PERFECT. You don't get such a high quality lots of times on dealextreme (the lower the price, the lower the quality most of the times) but this is a good price to quality.
- It comes with a handy screwdriver.
- It comes with all the screws (so you don't need to use your original Wii remote screws.

Cons: - I was afraid to break the plastic of my old Wii remote because you really have to force the plastic to open it up.

Other: Good product for a reasonable price. Good work.

Pros: It's very well built, and is rather simple to install, as there is more or less one internal board that is very easily removed and installed.

Cons: The + and - buttons have wings on them that match grooves in the places where they go so that they don't rotate around, and can't be put in the wrong spot, but the case lacks those grooves, so your + and - buttons will be spinning about. Doesn't affect performance though.
None of the clear buttons actually have any labels, which might not be a big deal, although if you let someone who isn't familiar with the Wii use it, they might have a bit more trouble figuring out which button is which. Solved by using the buttons from the old remote.
The battery compartment also isn't built quite the same. This also isn't too much of a deal, but it causes the Nyko Rechargeable Battery pack to rest a bit too high for the battery cover to fit (although you can push it down and make it fit)

Other: Unlike, say, a Nintendo DS casemod, installing this is really a piece of cake, and at a great price and for such a cool looking controller, I definitely recommend getting this!

Pros: - Everyone can see the interesting parts in the Wiimote, and you have the best-looking one of all your friends.
- It includes a special Nintendo-Screwdriver, which you need to open your old Wiimote.
- The price is ok

Cons: - Some buttons should be kept from the old case, because they aren't that good built
- The + and - Buttons are able to rotate, but for me this isn't really a con

Pros: Ever wanted to see inside your Wii-mote? Fear not, with a little elbow grease, your wish will be answered. It comes with an installation kit, (trigram screwdriver), that's better quality than sku 1887. All the plastic parts you need are there, just a few pieces from the old shell and BAM, see-through Wii-mote.

Cons: It's not to tough, and there's different guides to help you along. I completed it in about 30 min, even with some issues. As others noted, you may break the original shell when breaking into it, but that's ok, you have a nice new clear one.

Other: I've bought 1 so far. I like mine with a retro Decal Girl sticker, and my GF has a pretty blue sticker. When I get my 4th Wii-more, another one of these will definitely be with a future purchase.

Pros: - Easy to install the new casing.
- Triwing screwdriver included. reaaly comes in handy if you like to mod your wii or nintendo ds.
- Looks really cool. Seethrough plastic, and even buttons. Makes it possible to see the inside of your wii-mote.
- Good overall feel, nice and sturdy plastic. Feels realy solid.

Cons: Can't really find any cons, one of the four screws where a little bent, but used one of the original ones from the original (white) casing, so no biggie.

Other: All in all a really good product. Looks really nice, and is so simple to install that i believe almost anyone can do it.
