Customizable Text Handheld LED Message Display Cooling Fan Gadget (3*AA)

Pros: Looks great and easy to program, looks excellent in the dark and great for sending messages to people super bright

Cons: Cant think of any other than it takes a little bit of time to program and if you go past 1 u cnt get back without going though the cycle

Other: Get one best gadget i brought in a long time it simply great cheap and cheerfull looks great ................................................................................

Pros: Easy to use and easy to programm it.
There is a security screw on the battery place which keeps away the children from "eating" them.
You can use normal alphabet, numbers, some symbols and chinese characters for your text.
It cames in a bulk white box.

Cons: It needs very fresh (and powerfull) battery otherwise isn't possible to enter in the programming mode and the three buttons became weird in their behaviour.

Other: A good (and cheap) toy to play with your children or to impress your customer if you place it in a visible place or to say "I love You" to your girlfriend :-)

Pros: Cheapest POV toy I've ever seen.
Bright enough to be visible in daylight.

Cons: Unreliable buttons.
User interface could be better.

Other: The main flaw is the unreliable operation of the buttons, especially the 'program' button, which on my unit, often doesn't work, or worse, acts like one of the other buttons. The problem appears to be with the commutators behind the hub that connect the buttons to the controller in the hub of the fan. I found that a workaround is to give the hub a sharp tap with a finger before pressing the 'program' button. Still, it's probably safest to program your messages as soon as you get it; I wouldn't be too surprised if it becomes practically impossible after a bit of wear.

Pros: - Really cheap
- Great invention
- Will be great for cheering for our team at the horse racing competitions we visit regularly
- Easy to use
- Not so noisy as expected

Cons: - The buttons really "fuse together" sometimes, so pressing the middle button changes the current letter instead of moving on to the next one
- It "reboots" itself after a few seconds when running on half-full batteries

Other: Nearing Christmas I have decided to do all of my holiday shopping here on DX. This gadget seemed like a funny one for my Mum - I have preprogrammed it to say "Merry Christmas, Mum", so she'll definitely smile when turning it on for the first time.

Pros: The fan gives a bright clear message, unlike the vague one you see in the photo posted.

Cons: First of all I had some problems with putting in the batteries. If I only removed the regular lid of the battery case I could not properly insert the batteries since I would bend the little springs on the - end. And as many have said before me the program button doesn't work properly. I haven't been able to program even one successful message, because halfway through, or earlier, the button switches to the function of the top one and won't switch back.

Other: You get what you paid for: a cheap product with a crappy and malfunctioning interface. But if you actually manage to get the message in you get a good quality result.

Pros: + Bright leds so it can be seen even with the lights on.
+ It work as a cooling fan too! (many people forget to see this 'function').
+ Very fun toy to play with, give it as a gift or for use as a decorative gadget.
+ It comes with an english/french manual, explaining how it works.

Cons: - As many people said, it's difficult to press the buttons to program. I had to open it and align the rubber buttons with the board, but after a while it misaligned again.

Other: It's really an original gadget, difficult (I would say impossible?) to find anywhere else and it's very amazing. Although there are some cons raised like the build quality, I think it's worth the buy.

Pros: - Feels well built and solid
- Spins fast and text is really clear, not blurry.
- visible in daylight

Cons: - Buttons have a mind of their own. Sometimes the top middle button acts as the top one.
- Takes a lot of time to programme. So it isn't really usuable to chat with some1 that also would have a fan. Learning morse code would be a better alternative

Other: It's cheap and fun to show of.

Pros: As soon as I saw this, I diced to buy it.
I can't believe that text could be so perfect aligned.
First one that come to me, was black one, really fancy looking.
Manual for programming is undrestandible.
Whom ever I showed this device, comment something like "What else would Chinese produce !! :)"

Cons: It use 3 AA batteries that are in device, and over them is cover that have to be screwed. You can not open without screw driver.
First one I got worked about 2 minutes, still programing when suddenly it stops showing text. When I switched off it start to smell and smoking on burned plastics.
After that just motor worked but not text.
I have send RPM and get another one.

Other: It is nice gadget.
I will use it in promotional purpose.

Pros: This gadget, when/while it works it GREAT! So neat! and Quite cheap for what it does. People are amazed when you show them this item. You can store up to 6 messages! and they cycle using different effects.

Cons: The device themselves is extremely finicky. I wish it didn't require 3 batteries and so much time to program. The program buttons also stop working after about a minute. Probably becuase of hte power level.

Other: Great toy! Wish it was less finisky.

Pros: The fan is designed so that it fits very nicely into the hand. It feels very good in the hand. The color of the unit that I received was a light green one. I would have liked to have a blue one. The led lights are very bright. The led lights can be seen in the bright sunlight. I like the brightness of the led lights. The led lights are very nice. I am a fan of the led lights and wish I was an led myself. It is fun trying to find a way to generate 500 charecters or more. I love to fly. If the fan were bigger it might get me into the air like superman. If the fan was more powerful it could push me on my bicycle. The fan works great.

Cons: although the fan works great and the led lights are bright, the buttons do not operate properly. It is defective. It is defective. It is defective. It will not reset. It will not program. It only says PHASE 1, PHASE 2, PHASE 3, PHASE 4, PHASE 5, PHASE 6. The buttons only act as swiches to change the words consecutively to each of these words. It will not program. This item works good only as a fan and nothing more. I know that there is nothing that I can say to get this rectified.

Other: Good fan, bright led lights, does not function properly. It will not program. Buttons all do the same thing.
