When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: -GN20 @ iso100 -Adjustable head -Test Button -Light to indicate when fully recycled -Fast recycle (5s-alkaline, 3s NiMH) -Durable case -Inexpensive -
Cons: -Instructions in Chinese only -No polarity markings on battery compartment
Other: Great little flash units for a tiny price, buy more than one because once you have them you will find uses for them. Build quality is surprisingly good for a products that costs so little.

Pros: It's cheap. Very cheap. It's just cheapest flash. I bought it for Canon 5D because this camera doesn't have internal flash. Of course. I bought another flash with TTL support later. But for the first time this simple flash was enough to make some pictures at home. It's almost like internal flash but you can't rotate internal flash to shoot up to the cell. With this simple flash it is possible.
Cons: No power controls. Don't have any controls at all.
Other: Buy it if you don't have internal flash or your internal flash is broken.

Pros: There is only one flash cheaper then this one here on DX.com [http://dx.com/p/yy-by-18-electronic-flash-5600k-11402]. However, this one can also be used on Nikon cameras because the discharge is at low voltage. I used it with my Nikon D5100 without any problems (also tested on canon s5). I am using it however with some remote triggering system to get more contrast and depth in my pictures. You can direct the light to the ceiling for uniformity - this can't be done with the other flash I gave the link for [I also have the other one].
Cons: Actually nothing to write here - for only 15$ there is nothing I could ask more from this. Manuals in chinese - that is why I couldn;t discover what the plastic window under the flash is for (small as circle in the picture).
Other: Great product. Good quality, very good to use on any camera.

Pros: Very good flash for the price!!! The shipping was very fast! It took like 2weeks to get to the U.S. It was very fast! Powerful flash!
Cons: I highly recommend this flash to everyone! I use it with my Nikon D3100. Works great! I use it as a back up flash and it's just great!!
Other: Highly recommended!! It's a cheap flash but it's works very well. I think it's a universal flash so it should work with every cameras..

Pros: very good price for the quality. rotating mechanism
Cons: In my personal opinion it is very cold color flash and white balance is often not the true test, but this is easily fixed by software.
Other: this is the best vaoiant I could find on this site. small price for a decent quality. I am quite pleased with the flash. use it as a secondary synchronizer. can be used for home studio a few pieces.

Pros: It fits well into SLR and long zoom cameras. Use 2x AA batteries. Easy to use. I used it on my Fuji Finepix camera. See attached photos. It can tilt 90 degrees (face up ceiling). Charges up quite fast. Works out of the box.
Cons: The manual is in Chinese but not a big problem as I read Chinese. Does not include the AA batteries.
Other: Great value flash for use in dim environment and parties. It cost more for branded flash but then you pay for quality and brand.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Cheap, works on just 2 x AA batteries, very simple operation, works with my Canon PowerShot G9 without any problem.
Cons: None considering this is pretty basic and cheap flash.
Other: Most basic flash you can find that is safe to use with newer digital cameras. Only for photographers who know how to manually set exposure and aperture etc.
