Digital Camera Lens Cover/Cap with Strap for Canon (58mm)

Pros: Works well on my Canon T1i and will fit the entire Canon line if you have a 58 mm size lens. The product is reasonably priced and had no fit or finish problems

Cons: Can't think of a con at this price. Local camera store here wants 3 x the price.

Other: It is actually more sturdily built than the Canon covers that came with my camera..and it does say Canon on the lens cover.

Other: Its easier to attach and remove then my original lens cover. I would recommend to buy, for this price it can not be a bad thing.

Pros: I have a EOS 550D - and the lens caps that come with my lenses dont have any way to attach to the camera - I normally put the covers in my pocket, but you run the risk of them breaking or collecting dust that works it way on to the end of the lens - you can attach these to the camera strap (or anywhere else) it fits very well and seems much better than the proper canon lens cap

Pros: It works perfectly, just good for what it was buid.

Cons: The only think I can say is that it falls easily. The construction form make that when i put my camera in the poket where i save it, it easily hold off the lent cover.

El único punto que puedo decir en contra, es que debido a la forma, cuando lo guardo en el bolso que tengo, se suele soltar y por lo tanto, cuando la saco, suele tener la tapa suelta. Aún asi lo recomiendo al 100%. Muy útil el cordín que incluye.

Pros: Very good quality, perfect fit for this low, incredible price. I bought it to replace a damaged one and I was surprised to see a good, long lasting product .(I have mine for more than a year). I recommend it to all that use Canon cameras.

Cons: None whatsoever, just took it out of the bag and put it on the camera and it works like a charm !

Other: It a good fit for all 58mm cameras (or filters) and definitely worth the price.

Pros: It's a lens cap that protect the lens, simple. What I like about this item, is that it has better handling on a telezoomlens with lens hood on. The original Canon is difficult to take of where this one comes of easily. The strap is easy if you prefer it, otherwise they are removable.

Cons: I ordered 2 items. The ones I get were a Massa branded one and a generic which looks like the one on the photo's posted. The generic one is hard to press, I even lubed it with some vaseline (petroleum jelly). It didn't help much.

Other: It's a fine product, the Massa branded one that is. The other I'm not to happy about.

Other: i bought this product so that i can attach the lens cover to the camera with a string. unfortunately the product is so poorly built that i cant even use it. the cap is too big to just snap on the lens so u need to press it in, risking getting your lens scratched. i would much rather use the original cap even though it doesn't attach to the camera with a string. bought it about a month ago, used it for one day, now its just laying somewhere doing nothing.

Pros: If you lost your original Canon lens cap/cover, then this is a very cheap replacement. It works great and even fits over my 58mm haze filter very snug.

Cons: The spring loaded pinch mechanism is not very smooth. Must be some cheap springs in the middle.
The plastic edges on some parts are not very smooth either. Be careful not to scratch your lens with it.

Other: Only buy if you need to replace your original lens cap because you lost it or it broke. Other than that, i would stick with the original that came with your camera.

Pros: I really like this one, it fits perfectly on our Canon EOS 1000D! I actually like this lens cover better than the original one because it has a string attachted to it so I wont loose it, and I don't have to hold on to it while taking pictures. The build quality seems really good, mine has worked just fine for over a year! I'm so satisfied, this is definitely one of my best purchases on Dealextreme! I have bougt one for me, and a few for some friends!

Other: Love it, price is awesome, no cons! Find out if it fits your camera, and if so, just buy one- or a couple of them. Great as small gift to friends and family!

Pros: Unlike original cap from my 350d kit lens, this can be "pinched" both from the side or the cap and from the top of it.
Also, it's better plastic than original.

Cons: Doesn't fit perfectly and doesn't have distinctive click. So one has to check if it is in place after putting it on. But it usually does so it's not a big deal. And for this price, one can hardly complain.

Other: For this price it's a great deal. In some ways it's even better than the original cap.
