Digital Heart Beat Rate Sensor (3.5mm Data Port)

Pros: I have a Kettler exercise bicycle which has a heart rate monitor. My kids got hold of it and broke the monitor. I saw this and was unsure if it was going to work, but for $3.50, it was worth a try - and it DOES WORK! I didn't even bother finding out how much a replacement from Kettler would be - i'm sure over $20.

Cons: Maybe could be a bit bigger with a longer cable - but to be honest it is fine.

Other: If you need a replacement heart monitor for your exercise bicycle - this is worth trying. If it is a Kettler with a 3.5mm jack for the monitor - this will probably work.

Pros: This is very small and I was surprised that it was well build.
Doesn't hurt when you put it on you ears.

Comes with a good size cord.

Cons: Doesn't work with my exercise bike. I took a chance since this is a generic item.

Other: For the price even if it's not working it's not a big loss. It might be useful for other things in the future.
Shipping was very fast like usual and packaging was great.

Pros: Cheap and appears to be good enough quality.

Cons: This did not work for me but that could be because of what I wanted it for.

Other: It's worth buying to test it out. If it doesn't work, you're not losing a lot.

Pros: it works! the sensor for my exercise bike broke and needed replacing. this cost less than the shipping charge from the manufacturer.

Cons: the build quality is okay but not great. the cable is quite thin and flimsy, and the phono plug is a straight line with only a minimal strain relief, which is much weaker than the original. a heftier plug and strain relief would be better and only slightly more expensive.

Other: very useful for me, since it works for my application.

Pros: Works great as a replacement heart beat sensor. I bought my Kettler Verso 309 cross trainer second hand, and there was no heart beat sensor with it. You can use the handles on the machine, but when you do that, you can't use the moving handles, which would give a better work out. Also this heartbeat sensor detects your heartbeat much faster than the handles would.

Cons: It might be a bit flimsy. the wire is thin, but I don't see a problem with it. Also the length of the cable is just right for me with this machine, and I'm about 2 meters tall. Maybe if you use a home trainer where you are further away from the console it would be a problem.

Other: Good and cheap replacement. If I bought an original one, it would have set me back around 26 usd. Makes the work out experience much better and it keeps your heart rate in check.

Pros: Works a treat. Cheap compared to buying a spare from the local fitness equipment warehouse. They wanted 10 time the price. I think the price DX has for the item is spot on for the item.

Cons: None.

Other: If you are in need of a replacement because your original one has been lost or damaged. Then give it a go.
