Digital InfraRed Thermometer with Laser Sight (-32'C~375'C/26'F~707'F)

Pros: The build quality feels good on this unit Backlit LCD Has a laser which can be turned on or off Has both °F and °C Came with a 9v battery LCD seems to indicate battery charge.

Cons: The LCD showed me that the new battery was almost out of charge. 9v Battery can be a bit annoying to fit in but not a major issue.

Other: Buy it if it costs more locally.

Pros: Excellent for taking temperature remotely on any surface. It does exactly what you expect it to and even comes wit handy diagram showing you how the radius measured increases with distance.
Good build quality.

Cons: The switch for Celsius vs Fahrenheit is inside the battery cover, not a big deal.
No ambient temperature display

Other: I am recommending it for friends, makes an excellent tool or toy

Pros: It comes with battery, so you can start testing it out of the box. The laserpointer and measuring are both started by pulling the trigger. You have the measured value for several seconds on the display before it shuts down itself to save battery. No problem here, works as i expected. The thermometer feels quite good in your hand, its sturdy and solid, but not heavy, size is ok too. Values seem to be pretty accurate in the low temp range. Did not have a chance to see how it does at >100°C, but i guess the error grows a bit with higher temperatures. Backlight on the display is very handy in low light situations.

Cons: One thing that maybe could have been improved is that the thermo-sensor is not really protected. Would have been better if there was a dust cap to seal off the sensor when you dont use the thermometer.

Other: I like it and would buy it again. Nice tool to check temperatures of heatsinks and motors "on the fly". Price is fair for what you get. The only thing i'm missing is a protective cover for storage.

Pros: Good build quality. Especially like the rubbery finish, which provides good grip. It's pretty accurate too, within 1 degree C under the right conditions (see "other thoughts"). Good display. Battery is included.

Cons: The legends by the two selector switches for C/F display and Laser pointer on/off are in Chinese, which does not conform to DX' images shown in the advert (which suggest English legends). But the switches are probably set just once and then left forever. And as they are hidden by the battery cover this is not a big deal.

Other: Really good value. Nearly equivalent to professional IR thermometers at only a third of the price or less.

Pros: This is very good product for this price. Quite well made, i like the rubber over it. Accurate enough(as long you are not measuring any shiny objects. This is same on ANY infrared thermometer).

Cons: Maybe there should be some kind a cap for the IR sensor not getting dust and another stuff, but quite irrelevant con.

Other: I would recommend this to my friends with no doubts. Great price value. Reason that i didn't give max 5 stars to all, is just that it could be so heavy build that handles lots and lots of dropping, it could have IR-sensor cap for dust.
