Digital LCD HDTV Tuner Box with PIP/AV-IN/S-Video/VGA

Pros: Not any Pros sorry to report as it is not as expected in any way at all. It does function as a Analog TV receiver without sound or colour as it doesn't tune to the channel exactly and there is no fine tuning possible

Cons: It is not a Digital TV Tuner, It is an Analog tuner and without fine tuning making it impossible to tune it exactly to the Analog channel and hear sound and see a colour picture. Only Black and white as it tunes to the edge of the channel. Shows colour briefly while tuning and then locks slightly off the channel and so the Black and White picture and no sound. I have a very good antenna as well.

Other: Read what I have written above and if that is what you need then good luck to you. I am disappointed heaps.

Pros: It almost does what i want, which is to plug a DTV and netflix box into my old 19" vga LCD. it works when i use the composite inputs, and i guess i could use the tuner inputs to input channel 3/4 from my dtv, but id prefer to use NTSC composite from the dtv box, and svideo from my netflix box. but the port is not SVideo

Cons: It lacks a proper svideo or ypbr and Svideo adapter cable, tried jurryrigging a cable hoping that it was the same pin assignment as svideo, but no-picture. so its only half useful.

Other: get this if you just want to hookup a composite source to your monitor, I like that it has sound and even better that it supports speakers, picture quality is not horrible, but you are trying to put composite (640x400) on a 1248x1024 screen there will be a bit of blockyness.
